I bought this wonderful LP and its companion from a Discogs seller in Russia well before the war broke out. I guess I won't be doing that again...

I think you'd find more takers willing to bet on whether a container of vacuum tubes could get through than Melodiya pressings. Both seem far far removed by this point.

Not sure I'll get to the Sørensen tonight. Will be a surprise whatever it holds in store.

The first work on the Sørensen is an interesting Concerto for Piano Trio and Orchestra, then the Symphony No.2. The cover isn't very forthcoming!

Not so far off from the soundscapes present in new Vänskä album as it turned out. I was pleasantly surprised how outwardly welcoming both albums were.
