My Tube Collection, Welcome to share yours

Since you speak about chinese tubes, I have a 12AX7A made, from what I know, by Shuguang.

Any opinions on this one?
Chinese military tube made in Beijing known by many names such as 6N4-J, 12AX7 C8, Chinese 8th Generation, etc. . There's a lot of guitar players into that tube because it came stock in their gear for the mid 1980s to mid 1990s. Mostly guys into Marshalls, Mesa Boogies, Peaveys , etc. playing hard rock/heavy metal.

Personally I wouldn't use it for input, gain stages or the phase inverter position but I'd consider it for a reverb driver or the effects loop.

I am not a guitar guy, but I am a heavy metal one. But I just listen, so I never used this one and I was curious about it.

Some call these already NOS, especially sellers who want to obtain a better price.

Then maybe a pair of tiny Telefunken EC88 can restore the equilibrium.

The tube is so small that they split the date code in 2 lines. Seems made in Berlin.
