Next “incremental add” to Tannoy Kensingtons? 2 more S/812s or super tweeters?

I recently added a second REL S/812 to my Tannoy Kensingtons, and the improvement was far more than I anticipated - as those who know will understand.

I’m now considering 2 additional 812s. But I’m also thinking about super tweeters as my next add. It will be one or the other. I’d welcome any input.
TIA
Daniel

Why the desire for super tweeters? You have a concentric driver that approximates a point source. Why screw that up?

I get that. Odd though, that both Fyne and Tannoy make super tweeters. Maybe the high hz isn’t directional - similar to low hz.

It's very directional and adding a second "tweeter" that is in the audible range could cause issues especially based on the directivity of the original tweeter and the add on. The closer the placement the better but with a concentric driver your are limited. Doesn't hurt to try one out but I wouldn't take the plunge without a trail period. If you don't have issues with the current driver?

If you think more on a super tweeter, try a really cheap one first, and face it backwards and see if that adds some live-vibe. It might add a bit of pacial feeling, and you are only risking 20-30 bucks.

Then try facing forward.

If you feel any improvement with El Cheapo, then move toward the good ones!
