Videos of Acoustically-Coupled Audio Recordings

Also extremely good

Haven’t heard yet but will try soon…brand new release.

I think the Aries Cerat system is the most realistic playback of this piece you will find.

It was a little while back - don't suppose you know the album or catalog number? These big organs are handmade one-offs and each has its own sound and venue.

Yep that system…some changes to the gear since then but basically the same.

Interesting to compare the youtube video from naxos with the youtube video from aires cerat at ces.
Yes, I always compare the clip of an in room recording with the "original" from Spotify or YT (if possible)

Has the question been asked as to why people here, in this thread, enjoy watching system videos on YouTube ? For me, it's like a guilty pleasure. I find it inexplicably fun. I sometimes really like what I hear, but I'll never "act on it" (as in "place an order"!) because I know that there is always a chance that when you listen to equipment "live" you'll be disappointed by some aspect that the video did not capture.

I particularly like videos about vintage speakers.

there are some positives here but why are you playing a Telarc organ LP as your first track to introduce the system and then writing in your post what it cannot do due to the bass cutoff? Please play some vocals, violin, piano, concertos, orchestra, jazz, blues, rock

This room is far from ideal, but I think the system is dialed in as nicely as possible. I'm trying out a prototype SE amp from a friend with 7-8W, perfect excuse for this.

Which speakers are playing (small or large) ?
I'd be curious to know how the rest of the room is shaped. The location of the speakers as is seems challenging...
What does the system sound like to you ? What do you like about it ? What can be improved ?

i don’t doubt most people on this forum have videos just not here

Not that thus video is a duplicate of what actually plays in the room either, but I am sure it was done with professional equipment, not with a phone. Makes all the difference.
