Or just go in another direction altogether with some Chopin piano concertos instead... this latest release from Benjamin Grovesnor is good. 6AAAD9A0-5005-4AB3-8908-7CAF76CB3768.jpeg

Mieczys?aw Weinberg: Symphonies No. 21
Gidon Kremer · Mirga Gražinyt?-Tyla · City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra · Mirga Gražinyt?-Tyla

I appreciated (the max, if you like) No. 2, 1st mvmt.

Also, No. 21, 2nd mvmt. resonated for me.

Hope is a star – Threatened instruments Today these four instruments: oboe, bassoon, harp and organ are “threatened species” because the recruitment of musicians to play them appears to be failing in Norway.

Again a very enjoyable old cd.
And it's much much cheaper than the ERC 008 reissue and got a few more songs.

Interesting CD.
Songs of Dvorak transcriptrd by his great-grandson Josef Suk.
The booket written by Tully Potter is a good read too.
