QSA LANEDRI Series

did you even read what i wrote? i asked you not to do exactly what you did. and it sounds like you are doubling down on what you said and basically saying i’m just too sensitive and don’t understand your humor? and please explain your sense of humor? what is at all funny about what you wrote and what should i tell my wife exactly that is funny about your post and menstrual products relating to hifi? dude. are u f’ing kidding me, you aren’t just a random poster on the forum as a representative of @QSA-LANEDRI
and seriously my wife and i both waiting to hear what is humorous about your posts

Overly sensitive? No, but yeah, you're getting bent out of shape for the wrong reasons. I responded verbatim to his reference of a product with no intention to be offensive or misogynistic. Had his initial response been the Oreo cookie, I would have responded deadpan in the same way but would have substituted with 2 different brands of cookies and so that is my sense of humor that I am talking about. The underlying point was that they would each sound different. If you notice, I never got graphic about anything and so you're reading more into this than was ever intended. If you look at my body of posts here or elsewhere, you will not see a pattern of the things I am being accused of and so I'll leave it there.

I was simply only trying to point out that sometimes/often even the most unrelated, unconnected things can work just as well in some circumstances.

Yes, I completely agree but also that everything matters and the smallest things can have an impact including 2 different brands of feminine products or Oreos vs Fig Newtons.

I think the discussion was on point and got lost in translation - the point of debate was whether there is an objective figure of merit in reducing/controlling the vibrational spectrum, or whether it is a matter of tuning/taste, if the latter holds, the point of illustration was that you may get away with whatever tuning device works for your sonic taste (wood, concrete, cookies, etc…). It is truly the crux of the argument, and notwithstanding subjective measures. I’d be inclined to think that dissipating any coherent vibrational modes, but conducting as coherently as possible the electronic modes is what is achieved here. That’s something that scientists have tried to achieve for many decades of research in materiel science, with only few breakthroughs. If it is what is achieved here, well done :)

Okay, gentlemen. Can we please get the thread back on track? People have said their peace, let's just move on and get back to the thread topic, shall we?

Tom

Sometimes, to truly understand where we are, we need to remember where we began.

The Story of Us:

It didn't begin in a lab or a boardroom. It began in the quiet glow of our listening rooms, in a tucked-away Slack group where a handful of audiophiles never stopped asking, "What if?"

We were a unlikely bunch. Different ages, different backgrounds, different playlists that would probably baffle each other. But we shared a single, burning trait: a curiosity that was almost a physical thirst. We lived for those late-night listening sessions where a new fuse, new cable, a new DAC, a new upscaling algorithm, a new anything could unlock a sensation we'd never felt before. The real magic wasn't just in the breakthroughs, but in the immediate, giddy rush to share it with the others. "Are you hearing this?!" was our most common phrase.

To turn that private passion into this public brand was a leap of faith, a dream to weave our hobby into our work, and to share the sheer joy we found with as many of you as possible. We introduced the 30-day guarantee not as a sales tactic, but as an open invitation. It was our way of saying, "We trust your curiosity, because it's the same as ours."

The road, as you might imagine, hasn't always been smooth. In a world where every brand shouts about "revolutionary sound," we learned that sanity requires a little skepticism. It’s a shield we all use. And sometimes, that shield is so strong it becomes a wall, and it’s a unique pain to stand on the other side, holding what you genuinely believe is a key to joy, unable to pass it through.

But then, there's you.

You are the other side of that story. Every time one of you, especially someone who admits they were deeply skeptical-posts in this forum about a song that brought you to tears, or a detail you'd never heard in decades of listening, it fuels this entire endeavor. That is the reward. That is what makes every struggle vanish.

This forum was created for one simple purpose: to give people permission to be curious again, to discover for themselves how emotionally profound music can truly be.

This brings us to the most beautiful part of the journey: you.

You, the veterans, have done the experiment and felt the result. You’ve moved from curiosity to knowing. And in doing so, you’ve become the most crucial part of this story. Your experiences are the living proof that this is more than just a claim.

The most powerful moments for our community don't come from us, but from you. It’s the "Are you hearing this?!" post in this forum, the shared clip of a song that suddenly sounds new, the genuine impression left for a fellow listener wrestling with the same skepticism we all once had. That signal of truth cuts through the noise of the market better than anything we could ever create.

So, if you've felt that spark, let's keep it alive

Our goal with the Discovery series was always to make this joy accessible. But its story is truly written by you. Every time you share your experience, you're not just posting a review, you're passing along the same spark of discovery that started this whole thing, just like in our original Slack group. You become the guide for the next curious person, helping them give themselves permission to hear something wonderful.

So, let's continue the conversation. Your impressions, your stories of how this has brightened a day or a night, that is the true lifeblood of this community.

Ahhhh, you’re making me tear up.
what a brilliant startup story!
Admit it……AI?
This same story has been shared in this forum a couple of times and on our website since the very beginning, a few years ago, even before the ChatGPT era. Maybe some of those who were in the original Slack group will jump in here as well. @romaz was at the heart of it from the very start.

Definitely not AI. I was/am part of the original Slack group. This whole phenomenon grew organically out of the excitement and curiosity of folks in that original group.

And to make the story sound even more unreal/AI, letting go of the consulting company I built over about 15 years, a firm specialized in helping investment banks implement financial regulations, to follow my music hobby and inspiration is what stands behind this sentence: ‘To turn that private passion into this public brand was a leap of faith, a dream to weave our hobby into our work, and to share the sheer joy we found with as many of you as possible.’”

But back to what matters most. As we’ve shared, the Discovery series was always meant to be a temporary offer, since keeping it alive depends on reaching the order volumes needed to justify economies of scale. This forum is primarily focused on high-end products, which makes it the natural home for the Ultimatum series. But for the Discovery series, its future depends on how far we can spread the word in other forums and platforms that resonate with a more budget-conscious audience.

Here, we count on everyone’s support. By sharing your impressions and experiences, you help keep the Discovery series alive. We already have several exciting products in the pipeline for Discovery, each promising more of those ‘wow’ moments, and together, as a community, we hope to ensure that Discovery continues to thrive.

We’re open to ideas on spreading the word, and if you have reviewers in your network, we’d gladly send them cables. A claim like ‘Turning a $5 Monoprice into a rival for high-end cables’ is exactly the kind of hook YouTube reviewers love to test.

Have you ever thought about donating a cable or two and doing a road test with trusted members? Those who would like to try it have 2 weeks to test it and the only condition would be that they have to leave a review. Good or bad. At the end of the demo program, they either get shipped back to you or they are offered at a discount to those who participated (winner would be announced through a randomly generated number).

We have done that before with other products on other forums to great success.

Just something to consider...

Tom

In the case of the Discovery line, QSA has a very good policy which they backed up above and beyond call of duty. As for the more expensive lines I’m not certain if they offer same flexibility.
I would think that anyone interested enough to participate in such a loan program would prefer to forgo the hassle and just buy/try and take advantage of policy if unhappy.

…and just to be clear, I have a few of the power cables that I use , placed strategically.

Thanks for the suggestion, Tom. I’ve been thinking along the same lines. I’d be happy to get the Discovery Veridion power and Ethernet cables into the hands of trusted members here or in other forums or platforms such us Reddit. Honest feedback, good or bad, only helps us improve and keep things exciting. Everyone is welcome to suggest candidates, just ask them to contact me directly by email: Lanedri@qsa-lanedri.com.

Glad to hear the Discovery Veridion cables are helping you get a better experience.

The point of demoing the Discovery series isn’t just about the joy they bring to each of us individually, but also about spreading that joy to others, and keeping the series alive and accessible to many. If I were only thinking about my own personal pleasure, I’d probably just spend more time enjoying music and movies rather than standing behind this brand. On a personal note, one of the things that drives me most in this business is connecting with people who share this passion and having the means to push R&D further.

Anas, Have you contacted TAS and Stereophile?

If you happen to have contacts at TAS or Stereophile, I’d be glad to arrange sending them the Discovery Veridion power and Ethernet cables for review.

Write the editors?

thanks @romaz @Iamrael
i have removed my posts due to my misunderstanding
