QSA LANEDRI Series

Any chance you (or Anas) might comment on whether there are plans to have a series that occupies the price point previously held by the Gamma Revelation? Or did not enough of the Gamma Revelation get sold to justify it? Feel free to decline to answer, I was just curious as the current Gamma Veridion pricing is pretty much beyond my reach.
When we launched the brand, we introduced The Revelation as an entry point for experiencing the impact of QSA. However, we soon realized that The Revelation did not fully showcase the true capabilities of our technology. As a result, we began strongly recommending the Infinity to those seeking to discover QSA’s performance, and the vast majority of customers chose Infinity.

At this stage, we do not plan to introduce a new series. Instead, our focus is on developing products that extend beyond cables, with the ultimate goal of delivering a complete, end-to-end products for both audio and video chains.

Dropping another because…. Why not?

We watched the first half of The Two Towers tonight and I was regularly beside myself with how good it was looking and sounding… this shot is less clinical than the others. More of a candid. I think it shines, though.

Waiting anxiously for my QSA Discovery order. In the meantime, can folks keep posting their impressions just to tide me over ;-)

Which cables did you order?

I ordered a full loom of Discovery power cords, a power distributor, and a LAN cable

I will have a total of 11 Veridion Power cords, 6 Ultimate Infinity PC's, and 2 Gamma Infinity PC's.

The Veridion PC's have more than exceeded my expectations.

Wondering if there will be more “DISCOVERY” cables being offered.
Such as USB, Interconnects and speaker cables.
Imagine what a complete QSA Veridion Discovery cable loom might do for your system.

A DC power cable will soon be added to the Discovery series. It will be available as a 1.6 ft DC power extension cable, 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm, with male-to-female connectors.
Just the other day, I reported on the former Gamma Infinity DC extension in this post. I suspect that this Discovery version will blow the mind of anyone who tries one.

That is very exciting. I have a significant use for 5.5/2.1 in the digital chain -- QSA switch, SSDs, and USB XE Evo. 5.5/2.5 would be great for Orbi devices, and a fun test on SR Tranquility Carbon devices.

I've been using Mundorf stranded Angelique and SGW wire for all dc cables, so not necessarily lacking. But having heard the improvement those cables made, and knowing the QSA treatment's impact, i'm excited.

The ethernet coupler is also a cool addition. I just swapped the ethernet into my system, and I'm thinking I may need some more.

My 2 Discovery power strips arrived. I am located in the USA.

I didn't read the fine print in the Discovery power strip description. The captive power cord attached to the Discovery power strip has a Nema 5-20 plug, which is not typical for most USA households. Our typical power receptacles are 5-15R.

I think most of us in the USA (and Canada?) will need to buy an adapter to be able to use the Discovery power strip.

Will QSA make a Discovery Nema 5-20R to Nema 5-15P adapter?

I don't love the idea of using a cheap adapter, or really any adapter.

I agree; I just received mine today, and I'm in the same situation. I cannot use it without an adapter. It does not make sense for anyone in the USA.

We will offer the NEMA 5-20R to NEMA 5-15P adapter as an option for the Discovery Veridion power strip, priced at USD 50 with Veridion treatment.

I received a package today with three Discovery Ethernet cables plus three couplers. This will go head to head against the fiber that has been feeding my tempus switch.

I swapped this new run in a short time ago and while I already like what I’m hearing, I will need to do a few swaps later to get a handle on what these are doing.

Well the NEMA plug type should be stated on the website. However I'd say it does makes sense for many of us. All of my audio system wall receptacles are either 5-20R or 6-20R.

The NEMA 5-20 plug is listed in the description, but I should have included a photo to make it crystal clear. I’ve now updated the options to 'US NEMA 5-20R' and 'US NEMA 5-15' to avoid any confusion for future orders.

For those who have already received the Discovery Veridion power strip, please email me if you’d like to order the NEMA 5-20R to NEMA 5-15 adapter so I can arrange the purchase.
