I think the prices on these vary from $50 to $1,200 depending on the condition. This one looks like a fair deal to me. Pre-restoration prices seem to hover around $200.

I have one of these which I'm getting ready to restore, it's been a learning experience trying to figure it out.

Several good threads on Audio Karma which have helped me figure out what may need to be done.

Is this the one that originally had problems dealing with out-of-round LPs, or am I thinking of something else? I imagine the latter given the price, I just seem to recall not liking this one for some reason. I loved some of the air-bearing designs, at least until one of the seals on an air pump failed and clogged the air filter; dropped the airflow to almost nothing. The results were... undesirable. There was supposed to be a sensor circuit that raised the arm if airflow dropped, but as luck would have it that did not work.
