Shostakovich 8th by Bernard Haitink on Decca available low price digital mastering.

Both Tima and I have uploaded it before many times

Post in thread 'Ron’s New System'

Here, for example: https://open.qobuz.com/track/4128099

Or here with some compression:

As I said, it is always interesting to listen to a track with even a basic headphone. You can see how the Bionor video, for example, is so completely off - it is a massacre, but that does not prevent some from enjoying the system.

This is another special piece. Live AA recording of Haitink’s last conducting. All involved signed the last side of the vinyl.
This one is VDH.
(Tim, I included video of the system as per request:)

And live Bruckner 7 - for those who think on videos all of them should sound digital

Thanks. Yes on Shostakovich 8 the bass and punch with VDH, as well as the dynamic range, is better. On Beethoven trio the zyx is better.
Exactly:)

This is off ‘orchestral’ topic but here are two renditions of a track with vocals for comparing the cartridges. Audio is worth a thousand words..:)
VDH

Looks like messages got fused a bit.
Much beauty in all, but the last live recording is my favorite
Well it’s live at a hall that has my favourite acoustics. It was built in the 1600s. Shame that after pandemic the orchestra there lost some regulars and they don’t perform as consistently, but the Bruckner was wonderful
