Correct. They are some custom LS-9 speakers designed by Danny Richie of GR Research and built by Custom Concepts.

His office at the hospital turned over a few times, but the Sota TT was a staple in the early series. Sota had an endorsement in the credits. As is well known, Hugh Laurie is a musician and music lover, probably wanted nice stuff to listen to in between takes.

This looks like Alexandrias Series 2 next to ARC Ref 250 monos and a Boulder 2060...is the owner actually 'bi-amping' here? i did not think you could do that with Alexandrias.

That looks like Puget Sound's old system before the MM3s came around.

Thanks for the correction...presume the way to tell is the size of the front-facing bass port at the bottom. one looks slightly wider than the other.
