If you are attending High End in Munich this year, there will be multiple opportunities to listen to WADAX around the show. High End will be the world premiere of two new WADAX products, Studio Clock and Studio PSU. These remarkable components take the incredible Studio Player into a completely new realm of expression and musical realism. Here is the list of rooms and what they will be showing -

Two rooms will feature the complete Studio system with the world premiere of the new clock and power supply:

WADAX + Magico + Pilium + Shunyata / Atrium 4, E207
Magico / Atrium 4, F115

The following rooms will all have Studio Player as their digital source:

Audio Research + Acora / Atrium 4, F114
Auer GmbH / Atrium 3, C119
Avantgarde Acoustic / Atrium 4, E124
Engström + Kroma / Atrium 4, F219
Göbel / Atrium 4, E115
Kroma + Orpheus / Hall 2, H05
Rockport + Absolare / Atrium 4, F202

announced today:
Wadax Studio Player- new price 40800
studio clock 25800.
studio PSU 29800
Akasa DC Studio Cable 1m - 6500 all prices are US dollars. Don't know when this goes into effect or delivery times on the new items. I read this on the internet today.

The guys at the Wadax room didn‘t do Wadax any favor. They played with Tidal Connect. The effect was that the WSP with the new PS and the new clock sounded worse than the WSP alone in the rooms where they used Qobuz Connect with the WSP. So the right streaming service is more important than PS and clock

I believe that if they use Qobuz Connect, you will still say that system sounds worse than the others. Simply because your statement contains too many biases and fundamental errors in evaluating individual components based on different audio systems.

Your opinion, the sound in the Kroma room with the WSP as source was excellent. There are many reports that Qobuz Connect sounds superior to Tidal Connect.

So why don’t you think that if other rooms were also equipped with PS and Clock, the sound quality would be much better?

This was not my point. Most certainly these rooms would sound even better with PS and clock.

The WADAX Studio series is truly a technical and musical marvel.

We found the Studio Player in a multitude of rooms during the weekend in several of the finest systems.

You do realize that you're comparing three different rooms and systems where you couldn't possibly tell the impact of Tidal Connect vs. Qobuz Connect or the influence of the new Clock and PS.

The only proper comparison would of course have to be performed within the context of a well known system (outside show conditions).

Show Report: WADAX Studio Player – A Digital Marvel Redefining Expectations
One of the most compelling presentations at this year's show came from Wadax, where the acclaimed Studio Player took center stage. Derived from the technologies found in Wadax’s no-holds-barred Reference Line—arguably the finest digital front-end—the Studio Player delivers much of that performance in a more accessible, compact, and stunningly versatile package.
Unsurprisingly, the Studio Player was presented in all its glory, showcasing features allowing unprecedented system integration and fine-tuning. With customizable output levels and impedance settings, users can tailor the player to match their amplifier and preamp with surgical precision.
Studio Player Key Features:
Selectable Output Levels: 1V / 2V / 4V
Configurable Output Impedances:
0.4 / 7.4 / 7.5 / 8.2 / 8.3 / 8.7 / 8.82 / 9.84 / 10 / 28.57 / 30 / 46.15 / 50 / 66.67 / 75 / 600 ohms
These capabilities aren’t just about specs—they allow the Studio Player to take command of the system and deliver resolution that breathes life into the music. A source player is the commander of any system. It sets the tone, takes hold of the signal path, and controls the narrative. Timing, pace, and rhythm are not just audiophile talking points—they transform a recording into a performance. The Rockport Technologies room embodied this philosophy perfectly.
A New Benchmark in the Making
Wadax also previewed a revolutionary new power supply and clock, both nearing production and expected to ship in September–October. These innovations, spearheaded by Mr. Javier Guadalajara and the visionary Wadax team, promise to elevate digital playback to unprecedented heights.
In the Wadax room, I had the opportunity to experience this three-box setup firsthand. Hugh Masekela’s “Stimela” was absolutely riveting—the emotion, pain, and presence in his voice came through with such immediacy that it felt like being transported to the recording session itself. Then came SYML’s “DIM,” recorded at St. Mark’s Cathedral—a moment of sonic joy and reverence that reminded us why we love this hobby.
Also in the Spotlight: Rockport Technologies Lynx Loudspeakers
In another standout room, Rockport Technologies’ Lynx loudspeakers were paired with the Studio Player to superb effect. Jon Zimmer and Josh Clark had the room beautifully dialed in. Once again, Wadax was at the helm, driving the performance with control and musical precision.
Hear It For Yourself – June Audio Show
We're Technologies Mark's"SYML's""Masekela's 'Wadax 'year's excited to announce that Sunny Components Inc. will demonstrate the Wadax Studio Player at the upcoming June audio show. We will also strive to keep one unit in stock for in-store auditions, though lead times are currently 6–8 weeks due to limited production capacity.
