I don’t feel any lack of bass with Jadis. This is the best sound so far with the speakers. Briefly compared Jadis to Grandinote own Supremo amp. Grandinote is too cold compared to Jadis, but I need to do some further comparison.
I do...I even listen at the listening position...who would have thought??Measure at the listening position, thank me later. ;-)
Not many based on your inquiries.I do...I even listen at the listening position...who would have thought??
What inquiries are you even talking about? Show which results? Not many based on your inquiries.
How about showing the results?
About as equally obnoxious as your preceding one. What inquiries are you even talking about? Show which results?
Measurements?
Your posts are obnoxious, I have no idea what your issue is. You post your measurements if you want, I don’t think it brings much.About as equally obnoxious as your preceding one.
Results = measurements where you sit.
Bonzo can…Also, thanks, but what is one to take away from a recording from a condenser mic digitized, reduced in quality and played back through X system?
The sound in the new setup with Jadis is much better than the previous setups, based on the videos you shared. As for the Supremo or Shinai, it seems that a similar situation applies to AGs with iTron regarding Grandinote Mach speakers and their own SS amps, and most people with such high-efficiency speakers still prefer using low-power tube amps instead of SS tech. BTW, as shown in the video, if I’m guessing correctly, you switched from the transparent SC to a simpler one, which could provide a better matching for this setup.I don’t feel any lack of bass with Jadis. So you made no other change except replace the amp from the previous videos?I don’t feel any lack of bass with Jadis. This is the best sound so far with the speakers. I’ve noticed that Grandinote Mach speakers are surprisingly forgiving when it comes to room acoustics. Their minimalist, crossover-less design really makes a difference: no phase shifts or time distortion, so the sound stays super coherent, fast, and musical. The semi-resonance tube (S.R.T.) cabinet for bass loading also delivers tight, deep, and agile bass, and it’s less impacted by room issues compared to traditional designs. Also, your room desperately requires room treatment along with covering or removal of all that glass and that big flat TV. You're not getting close to what this system can do without getting the room done right. Does this room have any treatment?
Yes and no. The other big change is the recording method: iPhone with Shure mic vs just IPhone. Shure mic makes the sound thin and distant. Also, different SC, I now use the reincarnation of the High Fidelity cables by Rick Shultz. The cables are brand new.So you made no other change except replace the amp from the previous videos?

So you're not using the same recording hardware, not apples to apples.Yes and no. The other big change is the recording method: iPhone with Shure mic vs just IPhone.
