I'm not sure how I missed this wonderful forum for so long but an audio buddy put me onto it over the weekend. So I wanted to introduce myself and my space to great folks. Thanks for the hospitality.

Thank you all kindly for your comments. If I've done this correctly the details of this system "should" be in my signature.

Can you tell us the difference between the speakers on spikes and sitting on the Symposium platforms?

Sorry, but I cannot. My dealer recommended purpose built SRA Ohio Class platforms under my amps and turntable and Symposium Ultra under the speakers. I ordered them all at the same time and never even tried it any other way. He has set up tons of this gear in everything from pristine listening rooms to audio show hotel rooms and I felt like I was in no position to question him. Some have said that makes me a sheep. Baaahhhh......:)

Great setup!

Your location says you live in both Texas and Brazil. We have a number of dedicated audiophiles here in TX. Whereabouts do you reside?

Very nice system. Never seen those speakers before. Intriguing...

Funny. I am in the same shoes. My agent gave me CMS racks and amp platforms from the start. I hate to admit but these things are very much dealer dependent imo.

Very Beautiful room you have there.

Tang :)

Beautiful setup. Love the Tom Petty!

Very nice setup. Check out our 5One2 FB page for Austin area audiophiles.

Welcome to WBF Timz!

Very nice, Tim! The Horning, TW combo is fantastic. I've heard this at a few shows in the Highwater Sound suites.

Quick Q - is the vinyl shelving on the left custom made locally? I'd like to find something just like it.

Thank you kindly. Houston, north part.

Hopefully you already know Sheri and the existence of the Houston Audio Society (HAS). Come to visit Sheri once every few months so hope to see you at one of the future meets
