Wadax Studio Player Review

this is a great option to have if may ask some questions?
is the end network or wifi ?
does the player also have Bluetooth connection or plan to ?’
The SP gets hooked up to your network and has a RC for CD and some other basic functions. Roon is controlled with a phone or Ipad , so is Qobuz and Tidal connect via WIFI

BTW the Studio Player has no tubes!!!!

Lol an absolute dream
While a tube somewhere is great I think the player above is best as made
Now use some fine Riviera pre and amps now your into other worldly sound

I was told to never push my tubes all the way down. That can stretch the prongs over time and create loose tubes. Best to set them where they are snug then stop pushing them down. That way the spring in the pin sockets stays tight.
Hello, I've been pretty busy the last few weeks, still listening to lot of music, mainly rap and roller skating music, and skating my brains out, also women, it's all good, but my posting has suffered. Women can do that, extremely distracting ;) . That's a good thought but I don't put much downward pressure, just enough to restore the tube to its original position. I'll post some pics.

Studio is now Roon endpoint, Qobuz and Tidal connect and features just keep getting better. There was another software update to day to improve the functions of the CD player for FF and RW on the Cd player. I like the way it is so simple to do even for computer illiterates like me

BTW, I just spoke to my long term Mac friend who is a senior engineer. He says to seat the tubes and leave them alone. After they are correctly seated, pushing down on the tubes can cause the tube to loose vacuum. The sockets on my 3500's are extremely tight and well made. Whatever you might think about McIntosh, the quality of the sockets is excellent and quite uniform. So thanks much. I won't be doing that anymore.

My reply was to Kingrex who was correct in his assertion that once inserted best to leave tubes alone.

Tubes are Just like human beings .
Best to dont push them and leave them alone for optimum performance
and yet a Studio player still has no tubes! :)

I don't recall every audio company showing their products undressed for the world to see over the last 50 plus years. On the Wadaxwebsite there are diagrams and details of what the inside contains and even a "see through" picture.
I'm truly not understanding what else you want and why.
Does every other digital company show their naked guts? I'm asking for a friend since I personally don't find this important.

BTW I still have KINGREX blocked and I still don't like him :)

I am here to let you know officially that Studio Player has no vacuum tubes.
So, if I'm parsing the above correctly and reading between the line, there is not a hint of vacuum tubes/valves contained therein. Would this obviate plans to integrate such in a future release as a modular upgrade?

One can be too sparing with details, hence the confusion.
Thanks in advance for further clarification.

Can you please make a video where you put a newspaper with today’s date, and open up the Wadax, to confirm this? Camera shouldn’t move and no AI

we’ll get right on it, in between designing the next state-of-the-art digital product while trying to deliver everything currently on order…
