Hi Flez007...Where do i find these now? Would like to get First Ten Year Windham Hill, or the Samplers, or Winter...or all 3! As for now, i am spinning Bargrooves - Over Ice II while i am working on some spreadsheets this evening...very, very good deep house...and very well "recorded"

LLoyd - I bought these CDs some years back - as many of us I had my New Age era in the 90´s... after many years I decided to have a New Age session the other day - nice music, well recorded... quite boring... :)

Maybe you can try Amazon.com or downloads from iTunes to get some of these titles... good luck!

New Age music blows:
Like the wind through the trees and the sound of the bees as they buzz by your knees
Give me a break please!

Which reminds me, I have some Mannaheim Steamblower LPs to unload-er, I mean sell.

Neil Young: Massey Hall 1971
Alan Parsons: I, Robot
Supertramp: Crisis? What Crisis?
Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here
10cc: Deceptive Bends

Listen to them again before you sell them. I picked them up again and a couple of them are pretty good :)

Nah. I'm finished with my Mannaheim Steamblower phase. What ended it for me is we went to see their Christmas concert one year and they were on stage spinning their guitars around like ZZ Top and I couldn't take it any more and left. I have the early discs that HP used to rant about and had on his SD list.

Little Hatch - Rock with me Baby
Linda Sharrock - Goodbye
Stravinsky - L'Historie du Soldat

Nice selection! BTW, another HMV store here is shutting down...fewer and fewer CD stores as usual! At what website do people find the best selection on-line? Particularly for deep, thorough collections of classical, jazz, audiophile recordings, etc? (I suspect on hip hop/rap, etc. there are always going to be plenty of websites.) Thanks for any help!

Been on a serious Genesis kick as of late. I left them for a while as I was interested in exploring other music, but the video thread brought me back.

Squonk
Ripples
The Carpet Crawlers
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway

and Phil's amazingly powerful "Mama" have brought me back.:D
