What's Spinning Tonight?

John, thats a great album, I have a copy of it that has only had 5 plays so it is in great shape. Right now I'm playing one of the 2 K2HD cds that just got here. Dusty Springfield - Hits Collection, it sounds fantastic, and the next one where the volume will really increase is The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over.

Two thumbs up for the new 45 rpm release Freddie Hubbard: hub-tones by AP. Su-perb. Gotta love Hubbard on trumpet!

Also, a must-have is the original pressing of Getz au go go on Verve. As good as the 45 rpm reissue is. the original is still better.

Rennaissance: one of my favorite groups in college :)

The Patricia Barber Cafe Blue MoFi gold CD is also going for big $$!

Although HP has Novella on his SD list, I think Scheherazade is far better musically and sonically. The MFSL LP reissue of Scheherazade (now long OOP) is darn good. Itf can be had on Ebay for a reasonable price!

Jason Moran - Ten - EMI
Dave Douglas- Keystone - expona
Nick Bartsch Ronin - Llyria - ECM 2178
Tool- Lateralus
Nirvana - Unplugged in NY - DSC

All CD

I picked up 5 LPs yesterday and one of them was King Crimson, the reissue of In the Court of the Crimson King. I played side 1 last night and it was pretty good. Not as good as the jazz I played last night though.

Does the KC have the AT/GP inscribed in the deadwax? If not, there is a better original, earlier version :)

Nope. It has the word "loud" enscribed and a name that looks like Joez or something. I can't really make it out execpt for what looks like a J at the beginning and a Z at the end.
