Nice speakers!

I almost bought used Zeta speakers from Audiogon due to gorgeous look.

The only reason that stopped me doing is that I prefer small power SET amp.
The above mentioned QLS is SET friendly......a true 96 DB@ 6 Ohms and a nice safe impedance curve......

I can recommend the line source speakers from Grandinote Italy.
http://www.grandinote.it/mach9 - en.html

During my last visit there I had the chance to listen to the Mach9, which is a real 98db line source speaker,
working well for all the SET friends in WBF :)

Will get the Grandinote Genesi Pre and Demone Monoamps soon :)

If you listen to the speakers, you should try the actual versions in alloy cabinet, I saw some old versions in wood.

I really like Arion Apolllo speakers with 105 db/W high efficiency.

But I am not willing to give up Lansche 4.1 speaker with pristine treble out of plasma tweeter.

I do not have enough room to place two speakers side by side at my listening space on the third floor.

I asked for my wife's permission to set up second listening space at living room on the second floor.

But she is hesitant to give it go.

Thus I can not move on.

But if you are serious SET Audiophile, I recommend you to audition this excellent speaker yourself.

As beautiful as your third floor is, it is NOT suited for a Dipole Speaker.
Unless you have another room to set up a Dipole System, I would give up the thought of Dipole Speakers, because they would seriously underperform on your third floor.

I had tried to set up WE big horn speakers on second floor if I get it.

You may be right in that I need more space.

But I used to use Apogee Signature in a space similar to my third floor.

The problem is that if two speakers are close to each other, it could be harmful to imaging of both speakers.

More in the" just goofing off" category, I just built a line source in the garage system. Eight full range Dyna ribbons per channel. IMG_4355.JPG
