What are you doing today that is Hi-Fi related?

I'm buying a Mega Millions lotto ticket.

Totally Hi Fi related.
I think you mean Powerball, since it's up to $1.7 Billion............

The usual shill hunting.

Moved the modded 1200/T3 Pro combo from the archive back to the house. I’ve already done apples to apples comparisons between it and the stock 1200G.

Installing the airline (under the house) that runs the tonearm on the left. The pump will be situated half way across the house in a room under the stairs; not even a slight chance of hearing the pump in the living/listening room. In our previous home the pump was in the attic space. This home allows for a far better solution.

Previous home owners had a hole drilled through the floor for cable/coax :( . This unused coax was removed and the existing hole repurposed for the airline (so as not to drill an additional hole in the floor).

Shill hunting is too easy here.

My Snake River Audio Takshaka piggy tail got delivered a couple of days ago. Installed on the SDFB and settling in, already very nice improvement over the Core Power piggy tail. Waiting for tech to show up and install Fiberoptic internet service (only cable before).......

My Ansuz power distributor is on the bottom shelf of my rack, the piggy tail plugs into the SDFB, my 2M Ansuz PC plugs into the SDFB. No stress.....

Created a headphone section in my home office.

Replaced my Synergistic Research passive ground block with one of their active ground blocks on my main audio system. Very noticeable gain in clarity and definition, tightening of attack and decay, and reduction in dead space noise.

Then, I took the passive ground block upstairs and connected ground wires to my router, SR ethernet cable with ground connection, and UPS battery backup that power my router and cable modem. Very surprised at the additional gain by this upstairs grounding effort, not only in its impact on my main system, but also a noticeable gain in clarity, detail and definition on my desktop audio system. Kind of baffled by this but I'll take it.

I ordered few XLR plugs plus 3 meter symetrical cable and few chinch plugs.
The cable is professional low capacity and low impedance microphone cable.
I use these for my home made audio strips.

Bought an Olight Arkfeld Ultra for working on stereo setups, mostly to see behind speakers and equipment racks. A whopping 1,400 lumens.

Expectations high: Just received my ol’ Grado MT+ back from Joseph Long (Groovetickler) retipped with a ruby cantilever and FGII stylus. With the air line rerun under the house, this is now installed on the Trans-Fi T3 Pro Terminator arm. Listening sessions begin, shortly. I fully expect it to trounce the (current production) 8MZ stylus which was in itself a fairly respectable elliptical.

Put a Siemens 7308 Halske Germany for the input in my Whammerdyne DAA and it took this amp to a new league. This amp needs this tube.
