would have wanted to be in attendance for?

Here are my choices.

1. Neil Young - Live At Massey Hall 1971
2. Jazz At The Pawnshop (1976)
3. Sinatra At The Sands (1966)

What are your choices?

Belafonte-Live At Carnegie

Weavers-Live At Carnegie

I also agree with your 3

Allman Brothers Live At Fillmore East
Van Morrison "It's Too Late To Stop Now"
Bill Evans "Waltz For Debby"

Then I could happily pass on into the next life....

Tim

CSNY 4 Way Street
Keith Jarrett Standards Live
Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall

My brother was lucky enough to see Oscar Peterson perform Nigerian Marketplace and also Paco De Lucia , John McLaughlin , Al Dimeola at the Greek Theater,he still talks about how great they were.

If I could add a 4th it would be the 3 Tenors in Rome, Pavarotti,Domingo, and Carreas

1. Pink Floyd - Pulse (1994)
Ok ok, I know that Roger Waters was not there... but the tracklist is just amusing! Also, I've been (twice) at The Wall Live during the latest Waters' tour, so I wouldn't play my card on "Is There Anybody Out There - The Wall Live" from the 1980 tour...
2. Queen - Live At Wembley (1986)
Another statement for my music loves! I've been to a Queen performance with Paul Rogers. Good, but far from Freddie...
3. Guns 'N' Roses - Use Your Illusion Tour Live in Tokio (1992)

If I could pick a fourth one, I'd say Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same.

How about a trio of Bill Evans albums: :)

1. Sunday at the VV
1(a) Waltz for Debby
2. At Shelly's Manne-Hole
3. At Montreux Jazz Festival

1. A bootleg tape of Led Zeppelin - How the West Was Won
2. "
3. "

LOL...

No... seriously..

2. All 9 tapes from JATP
3. Tapes from "The Rat Pack - Live at the Villa Venice"

Art Pepper- More for Les at The Village Vanguard
Gil Evans & the Monday Nite Orchestra- Live at Sweet Basil's*
Charles Lloyd- Forest Flower at Montery

*Before I moved west, I was very fortunate to hear the master and some of the performers on this great recording at another one of his Sweet Basil gigs.

Belafonte-Live At Carnegie

Weavers-Live At Carnegie

Same here with these 2 though I was not yet born on one, and was only 3 years old on the other. ;)

Also, Friday Night in San Francisco.

You read my mind with Friday Night in San Fransisco. What a performance! Next on the list would be Little Feat's "Waiting for Columbus" concert in Washington, DC. Last on the list would be Sarah McLachlan's "Afterglow" concert in Toronto, Canada. There are many more but these would top my personal list, for sure.

Kolhn Concert - Jarret
Nirvana - Unplugged MTV
Elton John - Live in Australia

Belafonte Live at Carnegie Hall and Return to carnegie hall

ELP Pictures at an Exhibition

Todd Rundgren Utopia, Another Live and Back to the Bars - I was at the shows recorded at The Bottom Line in NYC :)

Limited to what I albums I actually have, I'd say these three would have been a blast to have been at.

1. Sinatra at the Sands - I wonder how much of the tipsy banter was edited out. Only those present will ever know

2. U2 - Under a Blood Red Sky - OK, technically the album was culled from 3 concerts. I would have loved to have been at any of them

3. Rush - Exit Stage Left

Hendrix/Otis Redding At Monterey - Would have been interesting to attend the first pop festival

The 3 Tenors - Baths of Caracalla; Rome, Italy

Miles Davis - Friday & Saturday Night at the Blackhawk
