Vikings

Hello, Lindeman. That does look interesting and thanks for posting as I have not heard of this one before. Perhaps I missed it but it looks like there have already been 9 episodes, is this correct?

Tom

Oh, thanks for clarifying. I got the 9 episodes from the series cast summary. I'll go ahead and add it to the DVR. I'm sure I can catch the first 4 episodes on Netflix or elsewhere.

Tom

I'm into the 5th episode now of season 1. Nice story so far.

I'm planning on skip and bingeing Season 2 just like I did Season 1. No spoilers please!

Finished watching Ep 3 and 4 of Season 2 last night. Gripping story. My wife is in withdrawal after learning that she has to wait 1 week for the next episode. :D She loves these kinds of things.

Episode 5 gets better. One of the fiercest fighting scenes I've seen since Braveheart and Gladiator. And a deep storyline too. Sad part is 4 more episodes and the season 2 ends.

Season 2 is done. What a gripping series ending. have to wait till next year for season 3. This series made me feel like I'm in the Nordic area.

It was an awesome and brutal season. The episode where they filet'd the red headed Earl was over the top. Lungs cut out from his back...yikes !

Absolutely. Brutal is the word. Gory scene. Like nothing I've ever seen. Skinning a person to death. My goodness. And the music is equally 'brutal'. The opening music has a way of conveying the Viking lore.

I want the sound track on vinyl..LOL ..j/k

I really enjoy the storyline. They could tone down some of the gratuitous violence.
