I love the History Channel. Their series are becoming terrific. Last year the Hatfields and the McCoys, now the Vikings as well as The Bible (produced by none other than Mark Burnette)

Finished watching Ep 3 and 4 of Season 2 last night. Gripping story. My wife is in withdrawal after learning that she has to wait 1 week for the next episode. She loves these kinds of things.

Episode 5 gets better. One of the fiercest fighting scenes I've seen since Braveheart and Gladiator. And a deep storyline too. Sad part is 4 more episodes and the season 2 ends.

It was an awesome and brutal season. The episode where they filet'd the red headed Earl was over the top. Lungs cut out from his back...yikes !

Absolutely. Brutal is the word. Gory scene. Like nothing I've ever seen. Skinning a person to death. My goodness. And the music is equally 'brutal'. The opening music has a way of conveying the Viking lore.

I really enjoy the storyline. They could tone down some of the gratuitous violence.
