Hey my man. I have been running my own firm 25 years almost. I’ve been working in audio only the last 7. I would be foolish to argue with you. Based on my ears I hear differences. I told you why they are different. You may not agree and that’s fine. You may not like my answer but I gave you one. You are only interested in being right about how you feel and what you hear. I trust my ears. I do audio to help my fellow audiophiles get to where they wanna be. I offer 0 cost demos for those that wanna try stuff. 0 deposit. No obligation to buy. I been an audiophile 20 years now. Just wanna help my fellow audiophiles. Our infigo system was named one of the 5 best at AXPONA 2024 by Stereophile . The writer stayed in our room almost 2 hours. I do this because I believe in it. Not to make a living. But anyway I wish you the best back to my “Real Job” now. Lol. Take care and happy listening

Just like with questions I have asked in the past. It is up to them to answer, not for us to demand an answer. Some of his answers may be proprietary.

Let's please add a tad bit more kindness to this conversation. FWIW, he is correct.

Tom thanks. It’s ok. I enjoy what I do. Audio is fun and enjoyable for me. I do it on the side not as a way to survive but meet new people and enjoy the music thanks.

@msimanyi that what my reference sound is like live music. I have a neighbor that always walks past by my door in our condo hallway and she said “ YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE PIANO” made me smile. Lol. My system playing Ahmad Jamal !

Well that is fine, hope you are successful and your ears will not help me make a purchasing decision. How about a spec sheet? You should have that no?

How many times do we have to go through this? The only specs from cable developers I typically see are the same description I see on the Infigo site.

@Republicoftexas69 i see you are a fellow Texan. I’m in Dallas by the way. I’m not offended by your response at all. I can’t divulge everything in regards to our usb cable. I’m mindful of how I engage in conversations with people I really don’t know. Yes I am the cable sales director at Infigo but I am also a practicing Texas attorney for the last 25 years. I have ran a successful law firm for 25 years. I have represented a Hall of Fame NBA Basketball player who is a multiple time all star and multiple championship winner. I represented the largest teacher’s union in the State of Texas for multiple years. I would love to invite you to my quarterly listening sessions at my house we invite 10 to 12 folks. You are welcome to participate if you like. I’m in this for the music. Not to have conflict. Life is short my best audiophile buddy passed away 7 years ago. I could care less about winning a social media argument. Just want to hear audio at its best. You are welcome to stop by. Pm me f you are interested.

you are welcome to try if you like. I don’t test by spec sheet. I use my ears. It’s not about if you buy it or not for me. If it’s sounds better. If it doesn’t then don’t. We all have different amps , cabling , sources and speakers. All our systems are different and need different things. What works in one my not fit the taste that the audiophile sees in another system. Take care

Exactly, hey we are an open book at Infigo. I let people try stuff. If they think it makes a difference they purchase. If they don’t they send it back. If they make a change they don’t care for they send it back. Listen anyone reading this if you are in Texas I open my doors to you. I have a full setup. You don’t have to buy a thing. We can have beer or wine. Bring your best files and we can listen to music. I intentionally did a loaner program at no cost because I’ve seen people waste money on stuff that does not work for them.

All good. Guess I will stick with Neotech. I like seeing some technical data to help decide if I should even audition a product. I am engineer with an MBA in marketing (I know) and sift through the marketing BS...

So I have no skin in this game but what are you expecting from a spec sheet on a USB cable?

Exactly, you have a great system as you listed your components and everything you have done. There is no reason for a spec sheet on this one. There are times when something can measure extremely well but in your unique system or it does not sound good in your particular listening environment and in your particular system. The whole reason why I do no cost demos is for a potential customer to listen to the usb cable , interconnect or speaker cable to see if it even works for them. I have no interest in pushing x amount of dollars in cables if the customer and listener isn’t happy. The whole reason I do this is because of my experience as an audiophile. I bought a cd player back in the day that was very expensive but in my system it was ear piercing. The dealer didn’t care. Took my money and moved on to the next guy. Then I had a problem with the remote and he refused to even help with that. But anyway. I judge by ear not by spec. There is no particular 100% spec for ear pleasing sound in my opinion.

I am not anti measurement as it has its place. Still I would agree there is no 100% spec for ear pleasing sound.

Same as I get when looking at a spec sheet for any product I am considering. Insight on construction, materials, etc.

I agree specs do matter some there are basic things that have to be there. But it’s not the end all be all
