plays really wonderful, I would prefer the loudspeaker, more warmth and play more openly and transparently. Can of course also be due to the recording I don't know.
I'll shoot a video of my own and try to get it posted if Youtube doesn't kill it over copyrights. I can say very confidently the speaker do not lack for warmth openness or transparency. They are addictively see through without sacrificing tonality.

I think we have misunderstood the posts 42-44 in this thread. I just wanted to express that I liked the 10 "loudspeaker best. There was a typo in English. Sorry

10FH are really something honestly - appearance wise quite small vs others but they deliver some serious stuff

I had taken a couple of videos but the levels really weren't right so I will shoot some more over the next few days, but here is a teaser of the 12FHs with the AmberAmp in play which is being fed by the Taiko Extreme server:

A very simple and elegant solution. In person demos can be scheduled in Long Island, New York.

UPDATE:

I am super pumped to debut the Tobian 12FH speakers at the upcoming Florida Audio Expo. Our room will be a knockout with the new statement LampizatOr Horizon DAC & Gulfstream server with cabling by Final Touch Audio.

That said, it has been brought to my attention that as a result of supply shortages, Gunter Tobian has been forced to suspend production of the VR-40 integrated amplifier for the time being.

Best upon the (temporary) removal of this fantastic piece from our portfolio, we are going to debut these fabulous speakers with my *other* favorite integrated, the VAC 450iq Statement, which will be right at home along with the other equipment in this room.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Fred A.

I can't wait to get ears on these 200s. Watching the project come along has been absolutely fascinating. I may have to begin with the MA100s, but can't wait to get a pair of these tanks in my parlor!

Lorenz is good, as is Tesla, Pope, Siemens, RSD, Philips, Telefunken, etc. Best of all is the higher specced E84L model.

Ah. Welcome back.

So I was going to hold out for the upcoming VR60 integrated, but Gunter's excitement over the updated SC8 preamplifier has proven contagious!

Some teaser pics for now, but we look forward to bringing this beautiful piece into our listening parlor and can't wait to show off the 12FH horns in Florida next month!

A reminder of the exciting and unique presentation we will be putting on at the Florida Audio Expo as Tobian Sound Systems makes it North American debut alongside world debuts from LampizatOr (Horizon and Gulfstream) and Final Touch Audio (all new SiNOPE USB).

Those of you making it to the show will not want to miss this special and unique gathering of 'firsts' .

Gunter having north of 100k tubes in his stash (small number indeed  ) was kind enough to send me a pair of perfectly matched NOS RCA UX210 engraved base tubes from the beginning of 30s of the last century. Just listening to them where I rolled against the so far best contenders Radiotron 801a with graphite plate (thanks Ked) and these globe UX210 do the absolute magic. Super transparent and reveling while speed, details & staging is top notch. Above all they are super musical and draw you into music like a magnet. Really really happy with them.

The Florida show has begun and we are cooking with gas in room 518! It's always a sign when someone wants to take home the show pair of speakers in the first hour!

After much experimentation we have resolved to orient our room length wise and it is presenting a sound we stand behind.

Some video feedback on the very special room we had.

Jay mistakenly refers to the Tobian 12FHs as DSG speakers (DSG is the name of our distribution) but his sentiment of the room at large is quite positive and captures what most seemed to feel--that the Tobian speakers are *very* special.

In addition to the 12FHs we debuted, we'll soon bring in some of the 15FHs (big boys) for audition by appointment on Long Island, New York.
