Is this the future of high end audio? I hope it is!20190605_175842.jpg

Because you cant wrap up stupid coin in a head phone rig...
That being said I think you are more right than wrong due to current and future lifestyles.

It may be for some, but not for everyone.

In Italy yes, when you go to Italian show you see only people from 45 to 70 years old,no one young people, always same people you see every year

""because you can't wrap up srtupid…"
I am not sure what that means, but I'm eefinitely gonna use it. Thanks HIFIGUY.

I did not get to hear the exhibit at Best Buys' Magnolia Department. It was a static exhibit. In an unrelated matterI was unceremoniously asked to leave the store or be arrested(Perhaps that will be a subject for another thread.). Don/t worry I was not banned, I plan to give it a listen.
Yes I am aware of the dominance of shiny ball spots at Hifi shows. This may be caused by the fact that that discretionary income of young people is exhausted by the purchase of an Applei-phone, and laptop.

I think it's a way for younger people to get into high end sound, and it offers a more intimate experience than a full size home system. I'm putting together a headfi rig mainly to use whilst on my laptop & for travelling. Otherwise I'd much prefer the larger scale and realism my main system provides.

I might add the aging "baby boomer" might find it great for the nursing home(assisted care living facility). Or even if you have to sell your stereo rig and move back in with the kids. Not everyone appreciates grandpa's music.
