so in summertime can leave in idle when not playing. good. From “new” out of the box, my experience has been 4-5 hours for good and then about 24 hours for optimal. Once burned in about 30 min from standby idle.

Yes. In standby idle they run cool.so in summertime can leave in idle when not playing. good.
Please recall this is not a typical voltage as opposed to a CURRENT driven design.
As I previously mentioned, I was surprised by the amount of heat the amps throw. Just for fun, I hooked up my trusty old inexpensive watt meter, with the following results:Thanks for your questions:
50 Watts is the power from the quiescent current, that brings the amp to 60°
The amps have a standby function so no need to leave on.
The remote function will eventually operate with the forthcoming Stellavox Pre and StellaDac.
Lmk if you have any further questions.
Surprising he didn't design the circuit the other way around: have more realism/ dynamics with stock tubes, and let people roll if they want it more syrupy. It's a shame I didn't hear it as you describe, as even finger snaps sounded less realistic. After all, this $30K DAC costs more than most people earn in Poland in a year.... No such issues with tubed dacs like Aries Cerat...This is totally incorrect, with the DHT Lampis you just need to roll tubes and match with preamp to get highest dynamics possible through digital. If you use incorrect tubes it will sound flaccid - and everything in between.

Amazing! Can’t wait to hear your assessment , big deal to be comparing to the darTZeel!ok, new thread for my own Stellavox demo story? or just jump into this one? premature for that decision i guess....for now. here is good.
the IDEM demo's arrived yesterday noon. by 1pm they were playing. so 22 hours now straight. the overnight part was my CD transport, otherwise streaming exclusively. out of the box i was told to play them at low volumes for 24 hours before i can listen. i even promised. fat chance of that. haha.i did listen quite a bit.
out of the box they were opaque and recessed initially, but that did clear up some after 30-45 minutes and i noticed special purity right off the bat. these amps were very cold from shipping and not at all settled, so my expectations were low. as they warmed up (they got hot to the touch after a couple hours) things got very 'good' interesting. then had the HiFi Five web thing until later and had them playing very low volume. after that i did try to listen some more but the amps turned snarly and rough....borderline unlistenable....so i turned them down, and went to bed.
this morning it was like a new different set of amps. and through the morning seemed to find their legs. i got my Fluke 62mini ir thermometer out.....142 degrees on one rear heat sink, 136 degrees on the other. Gideon says that is good. played a little bit with the gain dials on the back. the bottom three all work well. drinking the kool aid this morning these are awesome sounding. new ground? since they are past their rough part need to now try the darts in direct compare.
soooo.......Saturday morning @jazdoc , @2fastdriving and Andrey Kosobutsky of ATR Service INC are visiting to listen to a direct compare between the IDEM's and my darTZeel 468's. by then the Stella's will have been playing for almost 3 days.

You probably should get them off the floor and put them on the stands that you are currently using for the Darts…ok, new thread for my own Stellavox demo story? or just jump into this one? premature for that decision i guess....for now. here is good.
