Stellavox Introduces a New State of the Art Amplifier IDEM Monoblocks

Even before the pre, dac and phono stage are released for full remote turn on, just with the two monos it works as well, but only triggered by either so at this point not remotely. With the IDEM, Stellavox supplies a small cable for this purpose: 1-pol with 2mm banana connector.
You connect the two amps from remote plug to remote plug. So you can switch off or on from any operation push switch.

Any further questions?

I previously published the IDEM US MSRP, which is $149,750. The stereo amplifier release is forthcoming in December with the StellaDac, preamp and phono stage to follow. Once those prices are set, I will revert.

Thank you

How is the distribution for Stellavox in Europe organized?
Thanks

As far as I know, the only proper distribution is through Audio Exotics in HK and Audioarts for North America. Regarding Europe, nothing has been formalized yet.

Thank you

Thanks for your questions:

50 Watts is the power from the quiescent current, that brings the amp to 60°

The amps have a standby function so no need to leave on.

The remote function will eventually operate with the forthcoming Stellavox Pre and StellaDac.

Lmk if you have any further questions.
As I previously mentioned, I was surprised by the amount of heat the amps throw. Just for fun, I hooked up my trusty old inexpensive watt meter, with the following results:

Stand by – 11 watts

Idle with no input - 111 watts

Music at moderate levels - 135 watts

Music at Loud Levels (85dB) - 145 watts

I was surprised - I expected a higher power draw.

This could change

This is totally incorrect, with the DHT Lampis you just need to roll tubes and match with preamp to get highest dynamics possible through digital. If you use incorrect tubes it will sound flaccid - and everything in between.
Surprising he didn't design the circuit the other way around: have more realism/ dynamics with stock tubes, and let people roll if they want it more syrupy. It's a shame I didn't hear it as you describe, as even finger snaps sounded less realistic. After all, this $30K DAC costs more than most people earn in Poland in a year.... No such issues with tubed dacs like Aries Cerat...
