So, have you figured out anything about that upper midrange glare you were experiencing?

Still working on it. There are actually at least two issues. A null from about 200 to 350 and the peak. I have designed some TacT filters that have 10db dips at different frequencies so that we can try to determine what the frequecny is where this glare is occuring. Once we find that (may be a bit harder than I would like) then we can design some solutions around it. The folks from GIK are being incredibly helpful (unlike Rives Audio who refuses to admit it is even the room !!).

Could you post a RTA of your room? I am following this thread with great interest, as my room is long and narrow and I had a similar problem, but can not figure what is a nul with 150Hz bandwith and what is the peak.
