Hi , thanks for the answer. At the moment this model is not yet distributed here in Italy , if this will be the price , and I have no doubts about that , I think it’s a bit expensive, The 1.7i are priced at 4.400 euro , +/-, and 4300 euros more only for ribbon…..

In Italy we have a distributor , but not a direct importer, that’s why there’s a difference .

When I bought my 3.7s (which I gave to my son when I got my 30.7s), there was no 2.7. If any of you needs a good cry, they were under $7000 (and this was NOT that long ago!)

Though I it's nice to have options, I still think the 3.7s are the "sweet spot" of performance vs price. When I bought them, I considered 20.7's (I auditioned them in my home, something my local hifi dealer shocked me by offering!) - but they were not enough better (to me) to justify the big price difference. The bass was the biggest difference and I got a sub (see my threads).

If 3.7s are a stretch on the budget, the 2.7s may fill the bill, but: you MIGHT wish you'd saved a bit longer and got the 3.7s. I highly recommend using an SVS PB1000 (sub) with either one.

Quando ho comprato le mie 3.7 (che ho dato a mio figlio quando ho preso le 30.7), non esistevano le 2.7. Se qualcuno di voi ha bisogno di piangere, costavano meno di 7000 dollari (e non è passato molto tempo!)

Anche se è bello avere delle alternative, continuo a pensare che le 3.7 rappresentino il "giusto compromesso" tra prestazioni e prezzo. Quando le ho acquistate, ho preso in considerazione le 20.7 (le ho provate a casa mia, e il mio rivenditore di fiducia mi ha sorpreso offrendomi un'offerta del genere!), ma non erano abbastanza migliori (per me) da giustificare la grande differenza di prezzo. I bassi erano la differenza più grande e ho preso un subwoofer (vedi i miei thread).

Se i 3.7 sono un po' troppo costosi, i 2.7 potrebbero fare al caso tuo, ma: POTRESTI aver preferito risparmiare un po' di più e prendere i 3.7. Consiglio vivamente di usare un SVS PB1000 (subwoofer) con entrambi.
