Move over Air Force One!

Funny, my LBC forwarder in HI is an audiophile. LP hoarder with 2 Micro Seikis and 2 Linn Sondecks :D

AF1 is not moving over. The owner of the mighty Statement has just recently added the AF1 to his system.
The other pic shows Touraj putting in his final touches on the vertere arm for the AF1.

What you see on the vertere arm is a Jan Allaerts MC2. A ZYX Diamond was also on duty.

Well, I finally got to read the Thales TTT Compact/ Simplicity review in Stereophile. Mikey was not impressed with the Simplicity arm. Sounds like there were multiple issues. The cartridge setup precision was difficult to near impossible to achieve because of the poorly designed jig that comes with it. He broke one of his carts during setup. He also found that it had too much friction in the bearings. This design also still has skating forces to deal with as well.

The Schroder LT tonearm design seems to solve allot of problems the Simplicity has.

He should try the TD COI cart. :D

Unfortunately, Han (the AFO distributor in Singapore/Malaysia) was late to the party and didn't get an allocation for the first batch. So, the Malaysians are still waiting their turn. Did you get yours already? I'd be curious what it sounds like.

We were part of the first run so we were able to get 2 of them. Nice Gary, VERY Nice. It's got that delicate to dynamic thang going.
