Hi, The thread is a bit old, but my MQ2 is going to be received next week, replacing my current Parker Duo Diamond edition, and I am excited to listen to it. I saw this thread and I was wondering if my A-3 can drive MQ2 or should I go ahead with P-3 + M3X mono blocks?

I also am picking up Marten Mingus Quintet's next week but they are the first version. How much of a difference is the 1st to the 2nd version? What Amps do you recommend? I currently have a BAT VK655 SE which is 300w at 8 Ohms or 450w at 6 Ohms and have a Audio Research 6SE Pre.
