Klipschorns vs LaScala (latest version of both) - what wins and why?

Due to the burning of my home last year, I am in very slow process of rebuilding my home and also my audio systems. I had a singular experience shortly after getting out of school to hear a pair of K-horns that were representative of the current model at the time, this would be in the mid to late 70s. I walked away from the experience very much in awe of what I had heard. Certainly it qualified as a pinnacle experience. I would like to revisit that experience and hear the current model and judge whether to my 70-ish year old ears they represent that mountain top experience I remember so vividly from my misspent youth. I have never heard the LaScalas but I gather they sound very much like the Khorn although with less low frequency extension. The K-horn costs more, requires corners for best performance and is a considerably more imposing thing to look at. WAF isn't a consideration as she tolerates my hi-fi addiction, I think mostly because she is a beneficiary of my mostly good judgement. Its my understanding the new iterations of these speakers are much better than their older brothers. So, LaScala or K-horn? Why?
