* Did you watch a film last night (on Blu or DVD), and what was it? *

* I HATED it! ...And with a deep passion!

1. This is a kid's movie (between the ages of 9 & 15).
2. I CANNOT stand the shaky camera work!!! It gives me real bad headaches!
3. I felt asleep about forty minutes into the film! ...I was bored to death!
4. That's it; I don't even know what happened after that (I went to bed),
and I'm not interested to find out either! NEVER!

As for Picture & Sound quality: Who cares!

--> See what some movies can do to you! :(:p:D

FINAL VERDICT: Rent it, watch it (if you can), and see if you agree with me. ;)

Man, you are forgiving of most movies, it must be a stealth clunker in spite of all the press.

I didn't like it. I was told that I should read the book. Ditto with Harry Potter.

-----You won't find more honest than I from all over the Internet. :b

-----One plus one equals two. ...And I too HATE all Harry Potter's movies!
...But they are still better than 'The Hunger Games' though (at least in my own book).
...And HP movies are not "SHAKY".

I never got past 10 minutes of the first HP movie. I never got past 3 or 4 chapters of the Hunger Games book, and did not like the movie much either.

How's that?

-----You wanna make a lot of MONEY (and I mean A LOT)?

Just make movies for kids (young teenagers), in those genres; Harry Potter & The Hunger Games. ...From the kid's popular books I guess too.

By the way, Universal studios, is starting to get their act together; finally! ...In the year 2012.
'Jaws' on Blu-ray is another good example.
{Universal studios is my least favorite of all movie studios! My favorites are Disney & Criterion.}

Another Bee Movie Bombshell, along the riff of "Running Man" called "The Tournament".

Smug, loathsome emcee oversees a room full of snarling, sadistic powerful sheiks, senators, and moguls, reveling in cigars, booze, drugs, hookers and big money bets, while 30 trained assassins hunt and kill one another for their entertainment.

Cute asian assassin with a heart of gold, absurd drunken priest wandering through the carnage imploring everybody to just love one another, entire strip bar with topless strippers blown away in a free for all, two seconds of topless stripper assasin-fu. lots of cool fights and car chases with big yellow exploding fireballs, parku assassin who never runs out of breath, Ving Rhames out for revenge, who could ask for more.

Lots of exploding heads, bodies, viscera. Tons of breasts(until they are blown away, too).

Utterly without redeeming merit and gratuitous from beginning to end, should have been called "Columbiana Squared".

Viewed on Sony HMZ T1 OLED glasses.

Check it out.

>>> My own personal verdict: It is a MUST SEE & also a MUST OWN.
... One of the very BEST flicks from the Highest Level on TENSION. :b

* A happy movie with that special "Love touch". :b ...Singin' & Dancin' is Love.

I remember from my professional school at UCLA, a girl I knew worked on the top story medical pavilion where all the movie stars were treated. She talked with the aging Gene Kelly when he was a patient there. She was a dancer. She took me up and let me see him shuffling around in his bath robe. She said that all the dancers in those movies were loaded with cocaine and pain killers to do and re do all those sprightly dance scenes, which HURT after a while, to still look so happy.

She said he was a really nice person.

* I luv this flick!
...Even if I disapprove of the main actor's life philosophy in one particular aspect in America.
And of course, that chariot's race is superb! ...Great scene! [Click on it!]

I think that Gene Kelly said something to the effect that he danced for the common man, which might have been said to contrast his style to tht of Fred Astaire. An American in Paris has some very good examples of that, if I recall correctly.

Hate Charlton Heston? Strong words. What did he do you don't like?

-----Do you know his stance on guns control? Did you know that he was a big proponent and speaker on guns? He also once made a speech that was much better to not have been made (on guns). ...And particularly in the town and at the time that he did. He is also 'tres tres tres securitaire'; his house was like a fortress, and himself was extremely paranoid on his own security (perhaps for good reasons).
The guy was simply very weird; on his actions (paranoid moves), talks, and beliefs.
I dunno exactly; I guess it is the price to pay for some people to live in the United States of America. ..No offence at all to the majority of Americans.

I'm just 100% opposite to his views (Heston's views)! ...Simple as that. :b

* There are articles you can find on the Internet, and also was the short subject in a documentary by Michael Moore; 'Bowling For Columbine'.

---My OWN view shouldn't in any way reflect the opinions of the majority of people, and furthermore shouldn't be misconstrued and any way imaginable and unimaginable.

It is myn own personal view, and is totally free from any external and internal judgement. :b

In the movie 'Ben-Hur', I don't have a single issue with Charlton Heston.
And that is the main 'attraction'. :b

Because I am human (with emotions), I allow myself to elaborate a little further than just the world's surface. ...I'm just like anybody else.

...And I love to answer people's questions. :b
