Thanks Mike. This table has really intrigued me all based on your writings. Any set-up suggestions would be most appreciated.

Well after being held up in Customs for 3 days my TAT1M2 arrived, all 238 pounds! With the help of a good friend, I got things unpacked and set-up, everything fit like a glove. (Boy I wish I was into stamp collecting, my back with 2 rods and 14 screws had a work-out today.... Tramadol to the rescue)
Still have to fine-tune the cartridge so after a short rest that will be my next project. Enjoy the pics
Finally a BIG thanks to CS Port, again their packing is perfect!

Update on the first few days of listening and fine-tuning the TAT1M2 / Safir combo
The CS Port TAT1M2 has this ability that draws you into the venue where the music is playing, unlike any turntable I’ve experienced before. It does this in such a natural way that your body and mind become one, hard to explain but it gave me goose bumps on many recordings. There were nuances I’ve never heard before and plus it had a “trick” of reducing even more surface noise, those tiny pops and clicks even further than just using the CS Port IME1 Static Eliminator alone. Just unbelievable.

What a beautiful midrange to the music and with great recordings the best 3D images I’ve had in my room. Players as well as standalone instruments all have their “space” and just pop in and out of the soundstage. Never heard it like this before and did I say the space between players and instruments are blacker? Well done CS Port!

My only initial complaint was it had this “softness” to the overall presentation to the music. Communicated about this with Japan as well as several members on these forums, none had this experience. BUT after much experimentation I found that I had to adjust the VTF with a record on the platter. Usually, I’ve always adjusted VTF without an album on the platter but for some reason it was more accurate when a record was on the platter. My MSL Platinum cartridge is SO VERY sensitive to VTF, it has this sweet spot of 1.95 - 1.98 gm when it really sings. (Note: When I 1st received the MSL I fine-tuned the VTF by ear and now know where to set it so each time I try it on a different player I know what the settings should be)

So now my next step will try the CS Port LTA.......

Thanks Peter. Yes using the Vibraplane under the TAT1M2. Have been talking with Denis (member dcc) who also owns this table, and have discussed the thread tension. Have played a bit with it and it can change it's sound but not to the degree VTF has shown. You are more than welcome to come up for a visit and hear the system, give me a call sometime.
