Beautiful speakers:

They played a track from Doug Macleod which I am familiar with. Alas, it just sounded OK. The bass was boomy and the sound soft overall.

Note that my mood was negative prompted by too much talking behind me. Why play music if you are going to stand there and talk so loud? At least when someone walks in with honking big camera and notebook in his hand, think that he could be a serious report not this slacky and make sure the experience is as good as it can be.

On the positive side, I can't get enough of these meters :).

Sorry for blurry picture. Most rooms were pitch black and I am shooting handheld.

I saw a lot more messy wiring than the super dressed ones at RMAF and this was no exception:

Why use such a long cable as to have to coil it that way???

You can see people talking in this shot:

Did I say I like meters? I think I did. When I got into HiFi in 1970s, it seemed that the higher-end the product, the larger its VU meters. Sadly I could not afford anything with such large meters then.

Outside of the meters, not so attractive industrial design:

And I don't like dead tubes not powered on either:

Cool tube retainers:

An image of an ARC GS-150 in my room, all lit up for ya.

You are my hero!

I am really not convinced that you are cut out for this show critique lark Amir, just too Eeyore-ish for me.

Can't see that in US. But if it says anything bad about me, it is probably true.

Folks want me to write positive reviews, they should treat me right. A nice comfortable chair. Foot massage. Products assembled by beautiful virgins in tropical islands and presented by the same. Everything else will get you this kind of write up.

Understandable Amir :)

Nooo, Nooo, nothing 'bad' at all, a shade insightful maybe!

A somewhat listless "Alas, it just sounded OK" does paint something of an opaque vista tho.

You probably could have gotten that at the Madrona Digital Audio, Video, Home Automation room, but I don't see them in the Exhibitor's directory.
