If I am not mistaken, looks like the corner of your house is sagging by a few degrees. :D Nothing like needing winches to lift amplifiers....

Boulder should give you at least one winch free!

Has anyone heard this? Comments on the sound? Comparison to the 2060 stereo (which i have heard) is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes I know but if you look at all of Boulder's promotional photos and the ones from the factory you will notice they are positioned the other way.

It was a joke.

Wizard.
Are the 3050's as big as the Electrocompaniet Enigma was, or are they smaller, or about the same?

Edit:
Yes.. I assume most people did not know that Electrocompaniet made such big amplifiers?
Well. They usually don't.
Enigma consisted of 8 or was it 16 stacked (Bridged?) Ampliwire amplifier boards, So basically 4 Nemo's into one chassis...
powered by an absolutely insane powersupply, using no less than 8 transformers and other stuff.
This unit was one box, and a stereo unit. You could buy these beasts for ca 100.000$ about 10 years ago, I think it was.
I don't think it went into regular production. It was simply too big, at the time. But times have changed!!!
Just look at the 3050's! They're equally insane, must be!

They sure are pretty to look at! And decidingly massive to say the least!
That design of the heat sink...it almost looks like the surface of a CD under a scanning microscope...
I'm thinking that's the idea... :b

Hello, Wizard and thanks for the pictures. You had mentioned that Jeff Nelson from Boulder was there to install them. I'm wondering why that would be the case. Wouldn't they hook up just like any other amplifier? Basically, I'm wondering why he was there. Would you be so kind as to comment on this, please?

I think it is German Physics The Gaudi MK II loudspeakers.

You can tell by the swing arm assembly and the speaker umbilical just below the arm. That's unique to ONLY that loudspeaker.
