Beyond Turntables-Micro Seiki SZ-1t, SX-8000II & SX-8000

IMO the Triangle Art TTs are very underrated. The big one, I think, sounds phenomenal. Nobody ever talks about them.
Heard it at a friend system . Quite good . Demoed 2nd top model at my place . Sounded great with Top Wing Blue dragon

Hello, first of all, I wanted to say hello and thank you for accepting me into the WBF community. The thread hasn't been refreshed in a few years, and I stumbled upon it by accident, but I wanted to thank you very much because it's a topic about galactic turntables that no one makes anymore. Thank you.

Welcome to WBF. This series of essays by former member DDK is very interesting. These are some of the best turntables created at the height of the vinyl era. They remain rare and highly coveted. I owned a Micro Seiki SX8000 II. It was the best turntable I had in my system up to that point.

I agree, although today's TechDas is not what it used to be. Micro rules :)

The Air Force one is a completely different sound. I find it overly damped and dull sounding. No life or energy. I’m told the TechDAS Air Force 3P is the closest to the old micro. I have not heard it myself.
I feel the same way, because I listened to a few TechDas models at a Polish distributor and, like you, I found the sound to be slightly softened and rounded. The turntables themselves are built approx.
