Anytime, friend. I’m by no means as adept as some of the folks on this thread, but for all my griping and (at the moment) looking a bit like an idiotI am still weakly employing AM V1 and once you figure this all out I can then tap your knowledge. Appreciate your efforts and I am trying to keep up (failing a little)
Is there a chance you could try this Vibration test with v2 software and record?I use V1 software and V1 records, seems like the software is missing the 500hz peak
Yes, I did before and posted a table with results for different set ups here. I plan to redo itIs there a chance you could try this Vibration test with v2 software and record?
If you wish I can run your recording of a track in my V1 V2 and separate script . 135% IMD is just plain wrong. 15% can occur. . If I use the ART phono plus AnalogMagik freezes a lot, not the case with other interfaces.I emailed Richard Mak about the v2 oddness. I’ll let you know what he says.
But still, some of what started all this was seeing no distortion number changes for changing of VTA. NONE. ZERO (at least to the first decimal place). And this is with v1 or v2.
Yes, please do. Thank you. I used to use the ART but I didn’t like that as I adjusted its gain the Right and Left channel balance would change. Not by much, granted, but I still didn’t like it. Are you using the Puffin? I now normally use a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD USB, but I think I was able to finally get everything configured correctly in my Waxwing and may use that. But before I can make that my regular choice I’ll have to buy either a longer optical cable or a USB extension. If you wish I can run your recording of a track in my V1 V2 and separate script . 135% IMD is just plain wrong. 15% can occur. . Some previous V2 data here. note the horrible resonance in the Denon arm was due to a untight screw on the arm to TT connectionIs there a chance you could try this Vibration test with v2 software and record?
Hmm, but your Vibration IMD with v2 is “normal” compared to what I get! Some previous V2 data here. note the horrible resonance in the Denon arm was due to a untight screw on the arm to TT connection

Richard and I had a series of emails about this. It's a bit of a head scratcher for him. He said he'll look into it, but it may take a bit of time. In the meantime I'll stick with AM v1.I emailed Richard Mak about the v2 oddness. I’ll let you know what he says.
