I am not comfortable/accustomed with the way Analog Magik method of minimizing the zenith error, so I got a script to analyse a 15 minute mono 3150 Hz track.
In theory a perfect zenith and a perfect cartridge would give varying phase difference across the record, with 2 minima 0 phase diff at the nullpoints..

What I get is this. (Gyro SE SME V AT OC9MLii radius 126mm-68mm),
Not perfect but it shows the method can work

Yes I can see that.., can be explained if alignment or record is off, record stops at r=68mm
And tolerance for cutter/stylus are 5 degrees…
