Common mode rejection at the price of twice the electronics to impart double flavor… if it’s actually balanced.

Sonically I have never preferred balanced. They also have more capacitance. They’re a solution without a problem in home stereos.

As Kedar requested, and as Tang requested, please take this balanced interconnect discussion to a different thread.

Thank you.

Christian McBride Live at the Village Vanguard. This one is for my friend @ddk. I am listening to the track called Carwash on Side D and thinking how awesome this would be from your Bionor. Your system's bass is unparalleled and play live jazz better than anyone's. The video is only to show the tune...cant get close to in-room on this one because of the bass, the punch, the snap cannot be felt. I guarantee you will be on your feet smiling moving clapping along the tune. If you don't already have pls pick up one. Mackavenue.com. Or Christianmcbride.com It is a double discs album. Best for listening with friends.

There are probably more 'happy endings' at your message place than there are for most people setting up audio systems. Will you give WBF members a discount?

Even there, it's about the journey

Well. These days forum members here could all loosen up their string a little. Get a little ooh arrh from massage and you folks can look at each other and smile 'happy ending.' Put Kedar and Micro in the same room so they could walk out mingling arm over shoulder oneanother. A VVIP card for you Marty. (In Thai means paying extra premium:D.)

The kind of therapy that makes Ked and Micro hold hands and smile at flowers is not the kind of therapy I want to know about.

The originally planned WBF inaugural annual general meeting venue has now changed venue to Bangkok it seems.

Dear Boli46,

I think you are correct that WBF is not the right forum for you. Here we attempt to learn, listen, audition, conclude, discuss, persuade and listen some more and discuss some more.

The guiding philosophy of this forum is that high-end audio is a subjective hobby. We discourage absolutist statements of objectively correct and objectively wrong. Given that audiophiles hear differently and have different sonic preferences, different budgets, different space constraints, different margin dollar utility values, different convenience desires, different objectives for the hobby and different diminishing return values, among many other variables, it is rare to find in this hobby an indisputably and objectively correct answer of general applicability.

I readily stipulate that properly designed balanced cables connecting properly designed circuits achieve commode mode rejection. But that is an answer to a very different question than: "Which sounds better to me in my particular system according to my particular subjective sonic preferences?"

An objectivist audio forum such as Audio Science Review will be happy to embrace your certitude and Godly righteousness.

Ron,

Although I agree with main idea of your post I think you misrepresent the objective aspect of sound reproduction and associate it with a forum that intrinsically hates the high-end because it is not able to understand it. Absolutism and dogma are not consequences of analyzing and debating objective data, just of ignorance on its use. Since long absolutism and dogma in the high-end are usually associated to the words "best" and "better", not anymore to measurements or graphs.
