..spinning:

Schubert Songs

Ernst Häfliger /Jörg Ewald Dähler on Claves
Peter Schreier / Andras Schiff
Robert Holl / Roger Vignoles
Peter Pears / Benjamin Britten

all four fantastic, but the Häfliger version is outstanding as a recording, especially Dählers fortepiano is so beautifully recorded!!!
and once you get used to Peter Pears, their music is so touching.

As John mentions Clapton/Cale is a fine disc...

Have the orig Lp and a remaster and the FIM K2HD which I like a lot

Have the itCotCK box set released earlier this year and a K2HD JP import from awhile ago, plus of course the original vinyl

That one I'll have to look onto

If you have any interest in acoustic guitar playing the Jones disc is a treat

LOVE acoustic guitar,so many thanks for the Jones disc recommendation:).

Meant to ask earlier on EMO, I have all these too, and am quite pleased with the results, you also??

Of course I am Ron. Bob Dylan has never sound better from audio mediums (SACD here). :b

* I do have several Bob Dylan albums (LPs) as well; but I prefer those SACDs.

Everything that has been released on SACD from Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones I do have.
And they all beat my CDs and LPs in overall sound quality.

Perhaps the only exception would be Bob Dylan 'Desire'.

I also have several Bootleg Series on CDs from Columbia Legacy.
And those are also an integral part of my quite large Bob Dylan Folk music collection.

Beethoven| 5 Piano Concertos/triple Concerto - Fisher, Istomin, Stern, Rose, Szell, Ormandy 3cd's Sony
Pretty good for a budget set, IMHO, of course

Nice music...have got 2 versions of Piano Concertos. I have Angela Hewitt which is excellent...just got Murray Pehraia...i think i might actually prefer his piano playing to hers.

On Triple Concerto, i have the Itzhak Perlman, Yo Yo Ma, Daniel Barenboim one which got Rosette from Penguin which is fantastic.
