alon phalanx , are the field coils in these ?
funny I am coming to a Melbourne next weekend for my nieces birthday :)
The Alon's are all Alnico.

The field coils speakers are a DIY 3 way ( the tweeter is Alnico ) IMG_20210623_220935.jpg

Sorry, I should not have been lazy - you are in Canberra :)

I confess I do watch you tube videos of music , but only a bit of systems.

‘’I spoke to largest audio store in Australia yesterday, you cannot demo anything, whether they cannot get stock, or it sells so fast it does to stay on the floor long enough
so how does one have any idea what 100k speakers sound like ? It’s a challenge
Come visit us in HK. We have all manner of stock for you to experience.

The tweeter is a Seas T35, the mid is a Supravox 215 and the bass is field coil JBL K145. The mid (180hz to 5Khz) is OB.

I did cut the felt - made quite an improvement.

That’s probably because of the similar dimensions of your tweeter housing
suggest you find a Dynaudio esotar T330, and you will be in heaven, most musical tweeter ever

Wow this is the state of the industry ….all this unsold stock ;)
If that were the case then we would be in trouble. Fortunately it is a mere glimpse of the amount of gear being sold although personally I wouldn't touch Nordost with a barge pole.

Serious stuff!
Is that the standard Supravox 215 or the 2000?
