If i was a DCS user, i would want to know it…
I open my mouth to keep update them.
Do you want to know more? Ask to your dealer.
Aren’t you a DCS user? Curiosity killed the cat…

I’ll ask you again, if you knew you weren’t going to elaborate, then why make a claim in the first place? Do you tell jokes and not reveal the punchline?
I am not based in the US nor am I a dCS user. Perhaps you should fact check eh?

I’ll answer you again…
This is not a joke. I’ll repeat. This is very sensitive information… Do you know the meaning of confidentiality?
And, what does you think i have to check about you? It seems you have a big ego…
You are reacting like a spoiled child...
I want an answer, and i want it now !!!
:) :) :) :) :)
These questions doesn’t work the way you want.
I’m sure DCS owners will be grateful and will know how to act….

I actually could care less about whatever the top secret info you claim to know, is, I'm incredibly curious why, if it's so confidential, you felt the need to blab that you knew a secret and rather let the story come out on its own.
Do you feel important now?

Why are you unnecessarily giving him a hard time if the story is true? This is an audio forum, audio gossip is allowed unless it is false

I've already explained why. Gossip and a sense of importance has no place if people's jobs are on the line. Its clearly not THAT confidential if a WBF member from Spain has heard a story about dCS US.

The thread title should be modified, its breaking gossip from a random forum member, not "Breaking News for dCS".

A hard time? This is the age of the internet son - toughen up.

Well I only can offer hearsay, but I was told (by a dealer employee) the team was not “laid off” but left to do something else. He did confirm he is working with someone new.

what is real vs what is spin?

FWIW I did exchange emails with one of the dcs execs and I do know the story. There will be an official press release tomorrow

I suggest before all wild theories run rampant l, that we wait until the official press release tomorrow

Doing what Luxman did? Open a new office, run by corporate Dcs, as a single purchasing point. As for rumors, theories and innuendos, I would hope we are all accustomed to that at this point. A lot of folks think two plus two equals five. o_O

There is already a communication to every US dealer..
“ Dear dCS Dealer.
I am writing to let you know that John Quick, Jesse Luna, and Joshua Gwin have departed dCS, effective December 10th, 2021.”
As is normal, this kind of situations are always presented as a departure…

I guess the Wadax dealers see Dcs as their biggest competitors and hope more US customers will buy their overpriced ugly dacs now !

I don’t know what Wadax thinks about it, but imho Atlantis is far superior than Vivaldi. I don’t see any direct competition here.
At the same time, i’m tired to see same Wilson/D’Agostino/Dcs/Transparent systems…
It have always smelled bad miles away…. Always the same closed pack.
Time ago Audio Research was the choiced, but now AR is part of Sonus Faber so it is out of the clan…
There are a lot of good stuff out there, more than ever, so this kind of pressure of this clan with dealers isn’t anything i’m glad to see…
This kind of business model left users less free to take right decisions…

Never compared it in my system, listened to it more than once and it did not appeal to me.
I have higher expectations in the Wadax Reference and hope to listen to it sometime in January.

It seems you see a very limited number of systems. Although dCS get a large exposition because Wilson Audio many times present their top systems with the Vivaldi stack, real owners have very diverse systems.

BTW, why be tired of seeing great systems that many audiophiles and music lovers enjoy so much? ;)

Any manufacturer wants to place their products with top successful distributors and dealers. The Wilson distributor/dealer network is large and well organized and Wilson Audio uses dCS products in their factory. This seems a natural partnership. BTW, in Europe the dCS Bartok is selling very well to customers outside the Wilson/Agostino clan.

Probably if Wadax had a larger distribution we would be all be speaking about its sound quality in this forum, not about dCS gossip or other DACs ...
