The best Dipoles, Dipoles that can do bass?

Henk got his amps fixed .
I m holding a plane henk worked on , he has apparently a university degree in strength / construction design .
Actually its not the dipole really thats doing the bass in this case , does it sound fast and tight yes .
Would i change my own for his no .
Henk likes belgium beer so do i , and we had a nice chat about the hifi world .
Looked at several restorations henk does , and they look very well done from a technical standpoint.
What sounded very nice on them imo , was drumsolo ,organ and piano .

I think when we think of dipoles we think pnel speakers. But in fact any speaker is technically a dipole(Ask Newton, not me). The difference is the speakers that rap the backwave into the cabinet. So you often have hybrid design with an open mounted tweeter and/or midrange with a closed woofer.
For bass in a panel speaker you usually need a large panel. To evaluate the speakers ability to produce bass a double violin and electric bass guitar are excellent.

P.S. You will also need to assure that the electronics are able to produce authoritative bass a fact frequently taken for granted.

Yes , I heard vocals male and female , large orchestral work , plus all the things he usually demonstrates .
As far as as I'm concered its not about beating spirit of music , its simply comparing the sound I m familiar with to henks system .
Another person might judge completely different .

For me IT was also a little study whether i would prefer to work with a ribbon in my own designs. .
For highs and may be mids.

Almost, correct is 70 Hz

Henk also has the full range downstairs in restoration .
Would like to Hear what a full ribbon would be capabele of ,regarding bass , the membranes looked very heavy but reproduced very fast and tight bass , probably needs good power
Integration of membrane to cone was very good best ive heard.
On some cases maybe the tw could be tuned down 1 OR 2 db .
But not a big point

No, the Electrical Crossover Frequencies are like this:

Subwoofers below 70Hz
Bass Panel 70Hz to 250Hz
Midrange Ribbon from 250Hz to 9kHz
Tweeter Ribbon above 9kHz

Without having heard your Speakers, I seriously think you could be the only Person who thinks your Speakers are better than Henks Grand
