Has anyone encountered these?

One of my dealers came across them at the last UK hifi show and was entranced.
He knows my system well, my preferences and is aware of my search for Dipoles That Do Bass.
He feels they might be just what I'm looking for. They're big beasts, and through very clever packaging each speaker contains four 18 inch drivers in an omni configuration.
Unofficially i am now saving for a pair of these...but don't hold your breath, it could take me 12 years (eek!).
The 12 year plan envisions driving them with Boulder 3050's.

So, reports of any experiences, good bad or indifferent, will be gratefully received.
And yes, by my standards they are pretty fugly, so if in the meantime Siltech redesign a mk3 version, that's all good as far as i am concerned.

Ftr, i prize dynamics, deep bass, sub bass, and then all of the usual audiophile stuff like tonality, timbre and soundstage. I'll generally lean toward speakers that create a strong emotional connection to the music rather than the brutal honesty of monitors.

Thank you in advance for your comments☺

Interesting speaker! What have you heard about them?

Hello Lloyd, how are you doing....enjoying this glorious weather, i hope?

Hifi Corner in Edinburgh supplied and installed my subwoofers, and Struan is the bossman there. He's a regular at the shows and often reports on what inspired him, and what provoked him to take on new lines. A little while ago he encountered the new Rockport Orions and thought they were pretty special, good enough to stock.

But what he heard from the Siltech Symphonies had him entranced and held him like a tractor beam during the UK hifi show, far exceeding the Rockports. He got in touch all excited, but with the caveat 'do you like dipoles?'
You've got to be kidding...the only aspect i find lacking in my current system is they aren't dipoles (or omnis), and can't quite get me into the recording space as completely as my previous Alon - Nola dipoles did. I'm determined that my next speakers will be dipoles or omnis...but i want to retain the natural timbre and room-filling, effortless dynamics of my Stellas (the Alons could be a little forward in the treble and were unforgiving of less than perfect recordings, more like a studio monitor. The big Focals are altogether friendlier)

So there's an array of mids and tops, they look like they're fully enclosed but the rear baffles are acoustically transparent, as are the cleverly designed enclosures for the four (per speaker) 18" bass drivers arranged in an omni configuration. So this means genuine omni bass, which i have never experienced, as all my previous dipoles actually had sealed box bass enclosures. Very exciting☺

Struan reports tremendous dynamics, utterly present and believable presentation across all frequencies along with perfect timbre. His ultimate reference would be the Wilson Master Chronosonic system he experienced at Wilson hq demonstrated by Daryl Wilson, i asked him how they compared to the Siltechs, and he took a long pause, trying to rank them relative to each other...he couldn't, and had to fall back on the 'equal but different' observation, with the big Wilson system doing some things the Symphonies couldnt and vice versa.

I tell you what Lloyd, I'll rattle Struan's cage and ask him to comment here on what he experienced. He certainly left me with an absolute determination to experience them myself, preferably on the same road trip as the Wolf Von Langa Chicago, as a prelude to buying one or the other.

Just for the sake of completeness, my ranked shortlist reads (in ascending order):
4) MBL 101 Extreme mk2
3) Avantegarde Trio (ok not dipoles, but folk do seem very impressed by the latest version)
2) WVL Chicago
1) Siltech Symphonies

Wow…that is really fascinating to read. Thank you for taking the time to share some of the detailed insights. The 4 x 18” cones per channel sure seems fun. Will do some reading on it.

Heard them today at the ascot hifi show.
We're absolutely captivating, i was sitting and standing but not always in the central position, however even when sat over to one side the dimensions , width and height were pretty outstanding, seemed very natural and both the top end was amazing, horns in particular bass was also impressive.
Sounded real with various tracks from variuos eras , lovely , effortless and moving. All from records via an SME 60 which has cemented my quest for obtaining one within the next 6 months !

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to comment. In the pantheon of great speakers...where would you place them? (approximately or intuitively if you cannot say exactly)

Difficult to say as I've not heard all the options. I've listened to wilsons , magico 7s big jbl horns, use large active atcs
They are in the very top echelon.
Riders on the storm, it sounded like real rain high in the air, never experienced the track that way before with instruments floating in space, astounding
