Jimi Hendrix was always, always experimenting with effects.
He would have loved this.
He also used to blow out speaker cones on a regular basis [meaning almost daily].
About his music: he did such great pieces that you never hear - we just hear the same old, same old - but he had a GREAT ear.

Well, there's Boston which is the home of MIT and some major Ivy League colleges. And there's aerospace stuff here such as Sikorsky. I'm sure there's a more compelling explanation, but it eludes me at the moment.
