Zellaton and my ascent to Soulution

I am not sure what you’re implying here . First of all, Mike is allowed to do whatever he wants with whatever gear he chooses . He has had more top gear than most people on this forum. For decades he’s built his reference sound system down to the details . I’ve been to many rooms and his is top notch. So when he makes big decisions like changing amplifiers we should all pay attention. No one is strong arming him one way or another . He’s a purist , chasing the perfect sound .
I know nothing of the fiscal considerations , nor do I care . He’s plainly sharing his journey with us .
You don’t have to like it or agree , but don’t insinuate any BS back deals .
You’re more than welcome to
Try 717 and stellavox too if you can afford it.
If you can’t , then just dream about it, like the rest of us.
i never said Mike M is a bad person or doesn't care about audio. I'm just questioning the convenient deals being had on this forum with a brand new $150k product from a forum sponsor. and he definitely is a marketing mouthpiece for AudioArts.

what I can or can't afford has nothing to do with the subject.

So how did Mike M return a $240k set of SOTA, new amps in the US weeks after introduction and end up with a pair of $150k Stellavox without losing his shirt? This would be at least a $50k loss for most audiophiles. Let me guess why…
fair question....but wrong guess. read about what happened with PK. he also returned the 717's. ordered a year prior. why aren't you calling him out? not as Machiavellian as you are seeing it. not saying the whole story is presented.

I don’t think it’s super complicated , many dealers will let you demo pieces , if you like it then buy it , and if you wish you can write reviews online . If something new comes out and you trial it again and you like it better , many dealers will take previous unit back and sell you new unit. Early in my journey I had Sabrina x in my living room for three months , I loved them, my dealer then brought over Sasha daws, I loved them more , he took the Sabrina’s and left me with the Sasha’s . It’s not complicated . And if I had been writing reviews back then I would have gushed about the Sabrina’s and then the Sasha’s . Do I need to spell out how much money my delta was with every upgrade I make ?

Keith, we've known each other for over 20 years but honestly if this place rubs you the wrong way, perhaps you should find a home where things are different . I feel bad you see it this way but your posts lately are nothing more than filled with animosity . Think about it. There are plenty of forums audio related. where Im sure you would feel more comfortable.
