QSA LANEDRI Series

Just to clear things up about burn-in, since a lot of people have been asking: the Discovery Veridion cables need around 70 hours of continuous use before they really settle in. You’ll hear and see improvements right away after plugging them in, but the cables usually start showing their full character after about 3–5 days of burn-in.

You don’t need anything fancy to do this — just let them run in your home setup or computer system and they’ll break in naturally. For power cables, you can chain multiple Discovery Veridion cables using an IEC320 C14 Male to NEMA 5-15R adapter.

One note: we don’t recommend using dedicated burn-in devices. In our experience, they tend to add coloration rather than letting the cables open up on their own.
Call me crazy but hours 120-168 are HORRIBLE. Full break in seems to take 900-1,000 hoiurs for me.

Could you please elaborate on your burn-in experience? Which unit(s) did you use the cables with, and what changes did you notice throughout the burn-in process? Do you mean 900-1,000 hours of continuous burn-in?

Power strip into QSA Red/Black Jitter Plug into Red/Black outlet. and then Discovery AC from Discovery AC strip into LessLoss power distributor. System left on and played at loud volume when wife was out. Days 1-2 where great but day 3 was bad and days 5-7 were worse. Bad was thin, distorted amusical no bass shrill treble . Similar but less intense ups and downs for 3 weeks then a few minor shifts in week 4 and then steady subtle improvement in the fifth week. Not all my componenets can reach to plug directly into Discovery AC strip (will order a second one to allow bypassing LessLoss unit). Plug on AC strip has one horizontally directed prong so it won't plug into QSA outlet and I must use the jitter plug. More recently I have added Discovery cords to CD transport and DAC with less unpleasant ups and downs but still a lengthy process. Changes are from nearly unbearable to quite wonderfull.

That’s quite an unusual duration for the burn-in.

Here are some recommendations I strongly advise following to achieve the full potential of the Discovery Veridion Power Strip:

Connect the Discovery Veridion Power Strip directly to the wall outlet. We also offer a NEMA 5-15 to 5-20 adapter treated with Veridion, available as an add-on for USD 50 with the Discovery Veridion Power Strip.

Daisy-chaining should only be with another Discovery Veridion Power Strip, as any other power conditioner will restrict its full potential, regardless of its price.

Place the Discovery Veridion Power Strip on footers, this does have a profound impact on the performance.

Additionally, I recommend connecting it to a different outlet than the Red/Black outlet. If the alternative outlet is further away, you can use the Discovery Veridion AC Power Cable with the extension adapter (available as an option). With the exception of the Ultimatum Infinity and Spectra Infinity, which benefit from their thicker gauge; I do not recommend combining Veridion with any other QSA treatment below Crystal Gold.

While it may sound like a sales pitch, an end-to-end connection with our cables across both analogue and digital chains truly elevates performance to a new level. Each cable enhances the impact to an unprecedented degree—without diminishing returns. Many users have already experienced and confirmed these results.

Priority should be given to upstream components, as improvements flow downstream. In our findings, the router delivers the highest impact—surpassing even the music server. With all the ongoing R&D tracks, we managed to prioritize the introduction of the Discovery Veridion RG11 Coax Cable.

Pre-orders are now open for the first batch of 100 units, scheduled to be ready by the end of October.
Hi All,
I have a Arris CM8200 modem from my ISP which has a RG-6 coax input cable. I can't seem to find a RG6>>RG11 adapter to use with this cable. Any help would be appreciated before placing an order.

Very interesting. So you are saying a standard decent quality wall outlet will actually sound BETER than QSA Red/Black!?

I ordered a second power strip (BTW when I got my origonal powewr strip and AC cord it was very apparent from the first moment that the sound was better with the main AC cord into the power strip rather than straight into the wall outlet- more IS better!) and ordered your 20-15 amp converter. I will compare the dedicated line with your Red/Black outlet to a regular nondedictaed line with a $3 wall outlet that is right next to it just for fun. I do have a dedeicated line with a decent wall outlet that will require an extension cord to use-but that's for another day. I should mention my house gets a lot of DC current so I MUST use a DC blocker (my current 50 pound unit from Holton Audio in Australia was a huge SQ upgrade) or theres no hope of decent sound so QSA feom wall to componenets can never happen here

120-168? That’s pretty specific! And it was suddenly not horrible upon hour 169?
I should have said 5-7 days. Yes very profound shifts. Obviously from when I listened on day 5-7 until it was much better on day 8 when I listened. I have often experienced break in that way.

Hi, while the overall thickness of the RG-11 exceeds the RG-6 cable there is no difference with regards to its connector. RG-11 is typically run from the pole to the house and then RG-6 is run in the house.

Can you comment on why you're not recommending combining Veridion with the previous Infinity series?
Combining the Ultimatum Infinity and Spectra Infinity with the Discovery Veridion series delivers the major benefits of a thicker gauge which is not the case with the Gamma Infinity series. Veridon is not merely an incremental improvement over previous QSA technology , it represents a true breakthrough. We are racing against time to bring the Veridion upgrade to the Gamma, Spectra, and Ultimatum series.

Hello, I have a specific need for a DC cable (2.1 mm) but I need a male connector on both ends. Can this be ordered as a custom option?

If not, would there be any benefit in using the cheap included cable with the standard female to male QSAL cable?

Thank you.

We don’t offer custom cables for the Discovery series to maintain production efficiency and economies of scale. It is the only way to keep the Discovery series affordable.

Yes, you’ll still get all the benefits when using non-treated DC adaptors. The main difference would come from having the components treated with Veridion, but that option isn’t available yet.

Thank you, that's helpful. Might be worth a try.

I'm a first time customer so open to a referral. If anyone is interested, please send me a DM.

Has anyone compared the Discovery Veridion power strip with Shunyata power conditioner like Denali and Everest ?
