I followed this company (and others with a similar approach) over the years since their first appearance at High End Munich.
I like the horn principle but if my house and funds were big enough I would evaluate another concepts like this one for example:

6 moons wrote a long passage in their review to explain why they are AB not digital as popularly believed. So, who knows? If it was straightforward either way there wouldn’t be a popular belief requiring a long winded explanation

Ok after 4 years Munchen what i actually
would buy With my money .....

FM acoustics XS1 complete music system .

Second ( far behind ) . Wilson sasha / magico S3 mk2 with FM amplification.
( RP lyra as well)


FM acoustics playing LP is superb i did nt know LP can sound this good

Manny was always big on LP, even in the everyone had to have digital 90’s , always demoed with LP’s …

Although I did not attend the show this year for various reasons I do enjoy reading the different opinions of the same rooms. It always amuses me to see the same gear be the best and the worst at the same time. I personally enjoy RG's viewpoints even if I don't always agree. I am sure the MSM will be coming along telling us all how great the usual suspects were but IMO they are having less and less influence.
These mega buck systems always bring out the best and the worst of opinions. AHHH the contradiction LOL

I am not down on the main stream media though. They support the usual suspects because that's what their readers want to buy and the retailers want to sell. It's business! The retailers I actually understand as new product even if it is really good can be a dangerous partnership. The proven product is safer, although for the consumer not necessarily better.

I was in the room with the resonators, I saw them but can’t say I gave them a second glance.

Albeido's top of the line Atesia SGS were amazing at the Axpona 24, used with Western Electric's 300B based monoblocks. Easily the top 3 best sound at that show. And I' m not big fan of the ceramic drivers either. I heard the most realistically proportioned life size opera singers on stage with performers, and timbrally "correct" as well. And system was in the mid size room.

Would have loved to hear such ceramic drivers. When measured their out of bandwidth distortion is off the charts making voicing difficult. Steep crossover design is a must …

These huge Western Electric monoblocks are sorta "powerhouse" 300B with 80 W RMS, and even myself not being a big fan of 300B amps I was really impressed with the Albeido &WE monoblocks combo. The only other ceramic driver speakers that I have been really impressed with are the LumenWhite models, which also have been demoed with Mastersound or Ayon DHT amps. In both instances I made sure to to request same Handel' and Carl Orff's music that exceeded 96 db, and there was no distortion that I could hear.

@morricab I believe has had extensive experience with those brands few years back and if memory serves me right was quite charmed.

The new generation of the Accuton drivers are (supposed to be) much better made and with lower distortions than the earlier designs, however can't argue from measurements point of view.

One week ago we were in Munich for the anual High End Show. Yes time flies. Last time here since the event will move to Vienna next year.
Von Schweikert Audio, cellebrated their 50 anniversary, joined a smal room called Studio-4 at Hifideluxe in the Marriot.
Why this and why here? VSA launched their brand new VR.thirty and wanted to show them in a room that could be your livingroom at home.
Also the Marriot has a more quiete ambiance compared to the hustle and bustle of the MOC.
A lot of interested musiclovers found their way to Studio 4 and had the oppertunity to stay in the room as long as possible listening to music from Vinyl, CD or Harddisck. Our DJ, mr. Martial Hernandez surpized us with his wonderful collection of music and knowledge about it.

...since it's an audio display, products are featured visually, of course; however, this gear could be arranged in/on a fashionable credenza and deliver awesome sound in a small footprint suitable for a modern design/urban living space not intended to be an audio showroom. Lengthy and relatively decent quality demo of the FM Acoustics system, a rarity:

Always great sound. First was introduced to FMA at Lyric HiFi in NYC in 1978, when I was a university freshman. Since then I have remained a fan. I still have an FMA phono and 2 preamps. So glad to see Manuel going strong.
