MUNCHEN 2025 MOC / MARRIOTT The final Chapter !

Yes, and despite the big scale and good dynamics it sounded shouty and screechy. Anything other than a big classical work sounded rather comical. Tonality…well not really.
So its best of show and worst of show.

You get a hint of that in the video.
I was in the room three out of four days and heard it with a variety of music. Trust me, I wanted to love it because it is cool and ambitious. Their model the Crane also sounds very good.

Not worst…just definitely not the best.
The biggest drawback I see with this company is that they will have most probably next year in Vienna a complete new system which is maybe less expensive and so on the following years. So quite a bad investment. I have no trust in this company. And I dislike these battery of active amps. Compare this to the simplicity of the Silbatone approach, no contest.

I assume this company sells very few systems with very high margins to people who probably won't ever listen to them.

As usual, Munich was great fun. I was not looking for anything specific other than a large amp, and perhaps I will go with the new line from CanEver. His products have always impressed me.

If interested, I have posted some photos, without commentary, on my Instagram page. Please...no comments about the photography. It is not my forte!

So funny. Disliking a company for advancing technologies and lowering prices. And people wonder why a DAC is $350,000.

It's indeed completely different > Mirrophonic II system (2017).

Has anyone visited this space?

My guess, also considering the front end: light-footed, mid bass centered (kick without fundament) with a fairly pronounced horn signature.

I followed this company (and others with a similar approach) over the years since their first appearance at High End Munich.
I like the horn principle but if my house and funds were big enough I would evaluate another concepts like this one for example:
From the exhibitors of HE Munich and Hifideluxe 2025 my favorite is Silbatone/WE.
YMMV

The sound secrets of 10 high-end systems explained by their creators

Roy Gregory about Vienna:

"Finally, despite the organiser’s assurances to the contrary, there are significant question marks regarding the ‘rooms’ at the Austria Center in Vienna, many of which are partitioned out of larger/longer spaces and have windows down one side only, creating a significant acoustic imbalance. I deliberately sought out reports from those who exhibited or attended the Vienna Show last year and they were extremely mixed and far from up-beat."

Maybe Munich was the sweet spot for Audio shows?
