When I was in the room they were doing a comparison between treated and non treated generic speaker cables.Anyone get a chance to listen to the Veridion cables at Axpona? Haven't seen any impressions yet.
I was also quite surprised by how effective the demo was, this in spite of me having QSA-L cables and fuse in my system, I kept shaking my head. Congrats on a simple but very effective demo @QSA-LANEDRI and @romaz. I was there on Friday and am told the gap widened further the following days.I visited QSA-Lanedri's room at AXPONA several times last weekend, and can confirm their demo was very effective.
It does help to clearly understand the systems that @QSA-LANEDRI and @romaz had setup. Two identical system chains were on display, each comprising a network router, a switch, a NUC Roon server, and a Lyngdorf Audio TDAI-3400 integrated. Only the speakers, YG Ascents, were shared between these system, hence the need for the speaker cable swaps for the demo as a previous poster mentioned.
My understanding is that these systems were identically configured, with the only difference being that one system was using all stock cables, while the second was using Veridion-treated power and Ethernet cables. I did get a chance to inspect this up close, and at least to my naked eye, I can verify this was the case.
I am quite familiar with Anas's previous cables, but my interest was really piqued going into this demo, for two reasons. First, the price point of $250 is very (relatively) approachable, and this was an opportunity to hear just the effect of QSA-Lanedri's Veridion treatment versus the identical untreated cables.
Suffice it to say that the improvement was dramatic. The soundstage expanded in all dimensions, instruments had greater clarity and texture, and bass got both tighter and deeper (go figure!). Best of all, the slightly harsh, fatiguing aspect of the stock cables was gone.
I witnessed several cohorts of listeners come through at various times, and it was quite entertaining to see/hear their reactions. They ranged from stupefaction to disbelief to intense suspicion about tricks being played. Anas and Roy took pains to dispel these suspicions, showing how the Lygdorf's were set to identical levels and Room Perfect settings. I had brought along a non-audiophile friend with me, and his reaction was very similar. In fact, it was he who dragged me back a couple more times during the show, and finally decided to order 4 of these cables for his setup!
I wish more exhibitors at these shows would do such comparative demos. It is so much more interesting and useful than just passively listening to some unknown system with unknown music.
We chose to use an integrated amplifier to simplify our setup, allowing us to focus as much as possible on the cables. Our first choice was the CH Precision I1 Integrated Amplifier; however, sourcing a second unit proved challenging. Using only one unit would have compromised the near-instant A/B comparisons we aimed for. Ideally, we also wanted two identical sets of speakers to facilitate truly instantaneous comparisons.I find it very interesting that Lyngdorf was used for this demo.
I can’t think of any other preamp that can be used in this circumstance that would make it easier for the demonstrator to change the presentation/perspective of a recording without anyone knowing it was just a simple push of a button on the iPad. There would be no way anyone (other than the button presser) could know!
I hate to be so cynical, but anyone familiar with the Lyngdorf format knows exactly what I am talking about. Even beyond the level and Room Perfect settings being the same it just leaves so much room for suspicion.
IMO, using the Lyngdorf voids any validity to this demo and I would seek additional demonstration before opening my wallet.

I want to be perfectly clear that I am not accusing anyone of nefarious actions. I only want to point out that it is very easy with the Lyngdorf processor to program two (or more) completely different musical presentations by changing the position that the microphone is in while taking the room measurements for Room Perfect.Someone who was there addressed this:
Can this order come with both a treated and untreated cable for A/B testing in the home?Orders can be made at our website:

Yeah you sort of did make an accusation. That could have been avoided had you first aimed to gather facts by asking questions.I want to be perfectly clear that I am not accusing anyone of nefarious actions. These different positions can all be given the same name which would make it impossible for anyone looking at the settings to know that any changes were made to the software for playback during any A/B/A test.
Additionally there are many sub menus where bass x-over and freq./slopes can also be changed along with eq settings of the entire frequency range that could be switched within those same settings.
One can go into the menus and see that all the distances are the same, but any eq settings can be hidden behind many walls.
I think that it is very risky business for anyone to show settings that appear to be the same (and very well could have been the same) as proof of facts when it is is very easy to be deceiving.
It’s the perfect setup for a carnival show.
I hope that this isn’t the case!

Hi Anas, can you explain more what this is? Is it a device you are selling or treated cables? if cables, how does this new series slot in within the existing lines? If device, what level of cables can it produce?
When you mention the words "upgrade path" and surpasses anything we've achieved", I gather it is placed high up in the offerings. Would it be higher than the Ultimatum range of cables?
Thanks. I will be ordering your cable to try. These cables can be purchased on Amazon but it would be best to purchase them direct from Monoprice, the manufacturer, so that you can be sure you are comparing the same cables. Monoprice is based in California. The part number for the 14awg power cord is 40069.

While there is nothing special about these power cords, we settled on this particular cable because Monoprice is a reputable company, the cable is ETL and ROHS safety certified, and they are well constructed and come with a lifetime warranty. We specifically went with a C15 connector over a C13 connector because C15 has more conductor mass and can handle heat and current better. These power cords can be used safely and effectively on any device including amplifiers up to a 15A capacity.
The part # for the UFTP CAT6 PoE LAN cable is #41035.

In my system, this LAN cable is at least as impactful as the power cord.
While we're happy to have you compare the treated cables to their untreated equivalents, what we would really prefer is to have you compare them to your reference audiophile cables regardless of their price.
The facts are the facts.Yeah you sort of did make an accusation. That could have been avoided had you first aimed to gather facts by asking questions.
